Apparently Napoli are now travelling to play the game

Authorities advised them to stay and isolate, then told them they will forfeit the match.
Now if there's an outbreak, that's on the authorities, fucking useless cunts. Advise fuck all, they them yes or no if they can travel.

Defending rube here is pathetic. It's not in their (players' health) interest to play against Napoli tomorrow, since there's risk they'll be affected too. They know that Napoli can't travel so they are deliberately doing this. They don't want to play. They want the three points.

Bunch of cheating, criminal, inhumane cunts. They always were and always will remain. I actually hope they go along with their intention here, they might get three points but HUGE negative attention.

If Napoli somehow manage to get to travel, I hope they win 0-3. Motivation should be sky high. Crush the scum.

I can see it now. Napoli infects half of Juventus' squad. Season is immediately halted to give their players time to recover.

Its not about defending juve, its about doing what is the best interest for them and us if we were on their shoes. How would they be affected? Only 3 people tested positive and im assuming the rest test negative; if we are worried about asymptomatic people then we might as well shut down the whole season. Lets not be a hypocrite now. Remember when refused when uefa asked us to forfeit the match against getafe in the beginning of pandemic? Its the same shit.

Rube tomorrow, when Napoli actually intends to show up: "Noooooo, we decided to be human and we too ask to postpone the game" :awyeah:

Of course, then no one will rule out 0-3 forfeit in Napoli's favor and they postpone the game. :eek:blivious:

Let's not be hypocrite now if we were on their shoes we'd expect the same, this is a competition after all; we dont need to be nice just for the sake of it.

This is stupid, we would expect the same yes but it wouldn't happen even though we expect the same :palm:

Do people seriously believe Lega would have the same reaction if situation was reversed? The same Lega that pressed hard till the last moment so Juventus could play with a crowd in our derby last season while the other matches were either being postponed or being played behind closed doors?

Is this game on or not, is Napoli flying? Are they allowed to fly? If yes then get on the plane ASAP, Milan played without Ibra they can play without Zielinski.

Schira said there are no signs Napoli will travel to Turin as De Laurentis lawyers are in discussions with Lega in order to avoid 3-0 defeat and postpone the match.

10.30 - FIGC councilor Lo Monaco: "Juve-Napoli will be postponed" - The FIGC federal councilor Pietro Lo Monaco spoke to 'Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli' microphones. "We are moving towards this path: the circular of 2 October of the Lega Calcio speaks clearly. The ASL provision is legitimate, the rule is clear".

9:45 - Pressures of Napoli on ASL? - After the Genoa outbreak, the number of positives has also increased at Naples and the fear is that even the Azzurri may become an outbreak in a short time. Hence the request of the blue club not to play the match against Juventus in Turin, advanced on Friday evening according to the Corriere della Sera story and not obtained by Aurelio De Laurentiis who then - we read - would have alerted his friend Vincenzo De Luca, governor of Campania, to obtain a favor and not leave for Piedmont anyway. The newspaper then explains in detail how the position of the Lega and FIGC is against that of Napoli

9:30 - The Napoli lawyer speaks - In this regard, the lawyer Mattia Grassani , lawyer to whom De Laurentiis's Napoli relies, spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport : "There was a long correspondence, there are multiple communications from the Local Health Authority and the Campania Region in the same direction, that is to prevent players in close contact with the positives from leaving their homes, and there is a ban on leaving the Italian borders for nationals. These documents cut the head to the bull with respect to what is the relationship between the sports system and the rules of the State ".

SUNDAY 4 OCTOBER:

23.49 - Internal sources in Naples: appeal in case of 3-0 - If the FIGC decides for a 3-0 at table, Napoli would be ready to appeal. This was announced by Ansa, which cites sources inside the Campania club.

23.27 - Serie A: "The match remains on schedule" - Lega Serie A will not postpone Juventus-Napoli. The official communication arrived a few moments ago.

22.41 - Who has decided not to start Napoli? - In the ASL document (in- depth here ) Naples is not explicitly forbidden to travel to Turin. The health authority, on the other hand, imposed fiduciary isolation on the Azzurri: from there, the decision not to leave for the Piedmontese capital.

22.17 - Repubblica: the League will not postpone - The Serie A League will not postpone Juventus-Napoli. This was reported by colleagues from repubblica.it. According to the portal of the Roman newspaper, in fact, it will be the sports judge (and therefore the FIGC) who decides whether the Azzurri will be sanctioned with a 3-0 draw or not.

22.08 - Even the Napoli nationals blocked - After blocking the away match in Turin, with Napoli playing tomorrow night against Juventus , the ASL also blocked the players called up with their respective national teams. As reported by Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, the team is currently in voluntary home isolation.

22.00 - The bianconeri: "We are on the pitch regularly" - Juventus takes a fairly clear position on tomorrow's match against Napoli. With a press release issued on its official channels, the Juventus club in fact makes it known that the First Team will take the field for the Juventus - Naples match tomorrow at 20.45, as foreseen by the Serie A League calendar.

Exactly

Wtf are Napoli so special to get a postponement for just two players testing positive.

Plus they are not barred from travelling. Its just DeLa using the health authority as an excuse not to play Juve without Zielinski and Elmas.

The rules are clear, if youbhace atleast 13 players fit to play, you are gonna play. Postponing this game would set a very bad precedent. Juve are cunts but they are in the right here.

If we (Milan) are forced to play without our best player (and when we have a lot injuries already) Napoli sure as hell can play with two players missing.

Is it only two players though? Genoa had only Perin before their game against Napoli and now almost the whole squad has been tested positive. What if we had a similar outbreak at Napoli with the one of Genoa? It's not an easy decision.

I agree it sets a bad precedent and if one case is enough to postpone games then the championship simply won't end.

Zlatan being your best player? That tells much about AC Milan's current state.

Yes

Atm it is only two confirmed cases.

Unless there are a lot more confirmed, the game should go ahead.

As of now, it seems certain that the match won't be played, for the simple reason that Napoli aren't traveling to Turin.

Whether Napoli will lose by default (but they could appeal) or the match will be postponed, remains to be seen.

Personally, I don't think Napoli risk a 0-3 here, because the law is by their side: the Regione Campania, where Naples is, has requested a quarantine of 14 days for all the players, starting from October 1st.

juventus, being the douches they are, have decided to ignore everything and tweeted 10 minutes ago a reminder for the match.

They will bitch, because as per usual they believe special rules and exceptions should apply when they are involved, but I don't think it will make any difference this time.
