They're worse because Kean and Rugani are worse than Ronaldo and Demiral. Kaio Jorge is an unknown and i doubt he will play much as he has Morata and Kean ahead of him. Locatelli is a great addition but for the starting lineup. He simply pushes to the bench yet another of their underperforming midfielders. Juventus addition for wingback is De Sciglio who isn't really anything to envy Juventus for. Allegri doesn't rate Pellegrini and he wanted to send him on loan but the player refused to leave. I don't see how you consider Dzeko a slight increase over Pinamonti but ok.
We are discussing squad depth, so I don't say quality, but quantity. Which means, in the case when a starter being injured, needing a rest or dropping form, how well a team can cope with it by fielding another player.

For instance, Allegri can replace De Ligt -> Chiellini or Bonucci -> Rugani, they drop from a 10 to a solid 7. Inzaghi replaces Skriniar -> Dambro or Bastoni -> Kolarov, we drop from a 10 to a disaster 2 or 3. I call them having better squad depth.

Juve has weakened their starting XI, no doubt. But it is important only in direct clashes. Most of the time (league) those XI don't play together, but a mix between best players and backups.

If Felipe Anderson can get his old lazio form back (which looks like he might be doing) and zaccagni turns out to be a good player then that team is no joke and i wouldn't rule them out as contenders.

The only thing about lazio is that they have serie b bench players, which in today's football you need a strong squad not just a first 11 which will be their downfall.

Asides from having some nice kits lol and some Americans just curious are Venezia really as shit as they have been playing so far?
They're probably not this bad. There's always a bit of a culture shock upon promotion.

With that being said, them and Spezia are definitely the favorites to get relegated.

Genoa, Sampdoria, Spezia, Salernitana and Venezia for me. Two Genova teams are dreadful

Mou will do great at Roma, there is a lot less pressure than in his last clubs, players will follow him like God, and he will do great

Sampdoria is better than people give them credit. I see them causing problems for everyone.

After their moves in deadline day, their front line could look like this:

Candreva - Ihattaren/Verre - Damsgaard
Quagliarella/Caputo

It's pretty good if you ask me. Now it's up to D'Aversa to make it work.

I don't think our defense is much of a problem, none of our starters is injury prone and it's not a position with a high risk of injury and it's also not a position where you need a lot of rest, on top of that Ranocchia is probably the best bench CB after Chiellini.

Then I think D'Ambrosio shouldn't end being that bad as RCB, plus Darmian can play there. Kolarov is atrocious but both Dimarco and Darmian can play there.

The LWB position is clearly stronger last season, remember that Perišić was very far from a certainty, we didn't even know if he was actually gonna play and Dimarco is the best LB/LWB we have had in forever.

The attack is probably even stronger than last season, depending how much time Sánchez spend injured. I'm gonna bet that Lautaro, Džeko, Correa, Sánchez and Satriano are gonna score more goals this season than Lukaku, Lautaro, Sánchez and Pinamonti last season.

Now comes the bad, losing Hakimi is catastrophic, what he adds to our team is impossible to replace, the pace and danger he offers there is only like 5 players in the world than can do it in a similar level. Let's hope Dumfries can offer half of that.

Finally the worst is our midfield, the bench is absolute fucking garbage. We have a top 2-3 starting midfield and then our bench is not even good to fight for relegation.

Almost all our opponents have gotten stronger, except maybe Rube because maybe they can't find in the rest of the squad the 30 goals that they lost with Ronaldo leaving. I actually think Milan is stronger than last season, but my main concerns are actually Roma and Lazio, I don't think Atalanta will compete for the Scudetto this season, neither will Napoli (Spalletti is a shitty coach) but they'll compete for Champions League spots.

If our starting midfield stays mostly healthy, I think we have the Scudetto in the bag, if we lose one of our starting midfielders for a significant amount of time then it's impossible to get first place. If we lose two starting midfielders for a significant amount of time or one for long time we risk not even qualifying to the Champions League.

I think Inter, Roma and Lazio are almost a certainty for Champions League spots and should be the teams competing for the Scudetto. Lazio has a short bench but Sarri has always performed with a small squad. Milan, Juventus, Atalanta and Napoli will compete for the last Champions League spot.

Honestly the only place I feel like inter have significantly weakened is Dumfries for Hakimi.

Losing Eriksen is obviously huge, but we can’t forget that Conte had no idea how to fucking play him. Eriksen only cracked into the lineup by grinta, necessity, and luck. He would have balled out under Inzaghi though so from a sporting perspective it’s a rotten bit of luck. Not to mention if we can get anything useful from Vidal, Sensi, and Vecino, we’ll better off in midfield than last season in terms of depth.

In attack, Lukaku is a loss, but I would argue a core of Lautaro, Dzeko, Correa, and Sanchez is stronger than what we had last year. Satriano could be a nice wildcard. Anything we get from him is a bonus.

I think Correa, Dzeko, Dumfries, and Hakan can be dutiful if Inzaghi can integrate them into a system and keep them performing. We also upgrade massively from Young to Dimarco imo.

If Inzaghi along with the team leaders can maintain the mentality from last season, it’s ours to lose. Let’s hope renewing this useless players like D’Ambrosio and Kolarov will count for something in the locker room 😂

I'm really not impressed by Juve's line up. Morata, Dybala and Chiesa are great on their day but they are not consistent and sometimes are real shit. Bentacur was awful past season, Bonucci and Chielini are in decline. The only thing that is worrying me in their team is Allegri.

Yep. Without Ronaldo they might actually be weaker than last season and there is a decent chance rugani plays a lot of minutes this season. Chiellini and de ligt always seem to be injured.
Really if they hadn't have hired allegri I'd be totally writing them off.

We're lucky that Giube got rid of Cristiano so late and merely got Kean as a replacement. Their midfield is still looking quite shit and their defense isn't solid at all.

Pretty sure if he left in July they'd have Romero back, possibly Pjanic and another extra midfielder/attacker coming.

Chiesa is the most consistent Serie A player. I can't remember the last time he played bad, even when Pirlo put him as a LWB.
