Isn't it a 2 year loan with 25m option + a further 5m for certain conditions? I feel even Inter could have financially made that deal, I just feel Inter would not have been given such an opportunity. 30m for Locatelli is a steal.

There was no chance for another team to get Locatelli. If you check his posts on social media about the move you will realize the guy is a Juventino. Once Juventus were interested it was game over for everyone else. Similar case with Barella who rejected everyone to join Inter.
