It’s not about Pioli done good job for Milan, it’s more about Milan might not get better under his hand and their board is satisfied in that direction. They will have new number 9 that would cost them either Leao or Theo, Ibra also enters the scene, Pioli has more thing to deal next season. I don’t care if they are good or not, as long as still under us.

This is what I wanted.

Heat and pressure on Rube. Bologna only 2pts away, if Roma & Atalanta win their games they will be 5 and 6 pts away with 8 games still to go. Rube still has @Bologna, @Roma to visit.

Also Tudor totally outplayed Allegri, tomorrow there's Coppa semi 1st leg.

They are in deep crisis. For us, really fun to watch.
We need Juve in CL for the health of the league, no matter how much you hate those guys we still reliant of Italy being represented by the stronger teams in the top European tournaments. Teams like Roma has nothing to do in CL and neither dos Bologna. While I admire what Bologna achieved it’s going to come at a very heavy price next season in term of coefficient points as they are unlikely to win as much as a single point.

The best for serie a is generally having Inter, Milan, Juve and Napoli there it also means our primary competitor are going to spend energy so they won’t have an added advantage in the scudetto race.

The Rome clubs are a gamble at best, with the new format those teams have nothing to offer there other then getting humiliated.

The upside to Juve in the CL might be stretching them in competitions, the downside is that having them in the CL is very lucrative for them.

The best blend is having them in Europa or Conference. Let them rot in those competitions. "Health of Serie A" or not, I'd be happy to never see them play another Champions League game in my life.

I
Let it convince them to keep Pioli next season. I enjoy seeing Milan fans bitch endlessly about the only manager in the last decade they've had who they won a Scudetto with.
Im all for a glorious Milan unbeaten streak (minus a derby slapping) that culminates in an EL final loss

I dunno about that red card... Studs up but he was obviously going for the ball and didn't see him. Funny one.

Whatever. It won't change much.

We're getting dangerously close to having Milan fans start talking about how they've scored more goals this season than Inter.

FWIW, we've scored 85 and they're up to 83. The 22 goals they've scored in Europe and the Coppa have helped bridge the gap...we've scored 15 outside of Serie A this season.

(Obligatory "who cares?" response is noted. I'm not saying I care, I'm saying braindead Rossoneri are gonna try to hang their hats on that if that happens.)

Just noting that Milan received a foul for the same shoulder-to-shoulder contact that wasn't given a penalty before their third goal.
