I think you are being a bit harsh on Palermo here. Their first half performance was great. They showed no respect against a better team on paper and took the game to them. They had the better chances and controlled most of the first half. They were fearless and had a direct approach which many team do not when faced with a better opponent.Hamed said:I don't know how the heck did we lost to a pathetic team like Palermo? Their players had no gutts, afraid of taking charge and passing the ball around. And right after they beat us they started running their little pink mouths!
And Del Neri is an idiot. Why the heck take out Makinwa? Carioccolo was winning aerial battles, but being the lone forward, the balls were a lost cause. And God bless Santana, more interested in diving than in playing.
But this is a fair result, I would've felt uneasy if Palermo tied the game or won. That's because they should've been with 10 players. Carioccolo did the stupidest things I've seen in a while, how the heck do you grab a referee by his collar? And why the heck wasn't he sent off?

If you ask me, Lupatelli had very good kicks. Most of them were won by Palermo players. Even over the field kicks.Hamed said:I was talking about the second half. I don't know how many times was I cursing their careless players. Starting from their GK who can't kick a ball right, and ending up with their playmakers who are more interested in safe passing than in making bald moves.
BTW Ashkan, you mentioned that Blash** was suspended for dope? When was that?

It was at the time when he was loaned out to Parma! Here is a link: http://www.uefa.com/competitions/UCL/Players/Player=35190/index.html
Apparantly not if Mancini achieves it.Hamed said:Frisko, like you said about Cupe in the Ronaldo thread, finishing second is still a loser.
