Ivan is 33, whatever big club he goes to he is likely to have to share minutes. If he wants to be a starter he has to drop his ambitions of winning trophies.

Great news if it's a new development. Because"wants to stay" was a thing beforehand, which is why he named a price to meet that desire.

Perisic is an extremely versatile player who can play with both feet. He'll fit somewhere else if Gosens has to play. Otherwise, there's always rotation, injuries, suspensions, multiple tournaments, good for competition, and I can go on with the benefits of having two good players in one position. This is how big teams operate. Mid-table teams settle for mediocre rotation players like we have now.

33 but play like 29 , i think he is better than his 29 this season. In my opinion he is the best LWB in Serie A this year.

I'm seeing we keep starting Perisic at least half of the games, probably most. Gosens will be brought in bit by bit, depending a little what is the fitness level of Perisic.

But imagine how good position we are at, when we can bring in Gosens to Perisic when Perisic is tired in a game. This is massive.

Yes I would normally agree but Perisic right now is a different beast. I want him to play at all time. But this could also be because of me thinking he is the best player of our team this season and one of the best last season.
