I would rather have him as a 4th attacking option instead of Correa than a LWB

I don't want him back. He has a high salary while we need to lower wage bill and he would demand a significant role which would only hinder Dimarco's development. Time to look forward. He made his choice last summer. Inter have moved on.

I'm wondering why the Arabs don't go after this guy. Surely, he would be more "exciting" to watch than Brozovic

So another player who left Inter and was mediocre/below expectations at his new club. He completed the list of Icardi, Hakimi, Lukaku.
I said it in another post. How long our lefties played below expectations at their new clubs, don`t expect to sell our "stars" without discount. All the clubs will look at this parameter. Only for this reason and it`s enough to hope Skriniar will be successful at PSG.

Well if they were all mediocre just like you claim does that means that our roster or team is shit cause they were best players of that team? And we are talking about team that reached CL final and gave a hard time to City. I dont think so. I think that Tottenham is a crap team where you cant help them no matter how good you are. Perisic was solid there but he cant help them cause they suck. Hakimi and Icardi played in team full of superstars and did solid. Only Lukaku failed big time.

it's not like Perisic didn't do any positives vibes for them. 8 assists for them last season.

it's just Tottenham Hotspur is a cursed and irrelevant football club since ages. they even appointed their head coach 3 times last season.

We can find excuses all day long. The bare truth is that none of our relevant players who left lived up to their expectations. Icardi and Lukaku are gone from their clubs, Perisic seems to follow and PSG are not happy with Hakimi. We cannot hide this thing.
At Liverpool happened the same shit. All their players who left dissapointed. And we talk about a team who played 3 fucking CL finals from the last 5.
When a club buys a player they look also how other players panned out after they left Inter. It`s the same discussion we have about Atalanta and Sassuolo. The same standard apply to us.

It depends on the expectations though. Perisic had 12 assists in all competitions, and this is definitely not bad. But if they expected Pero to carry the team, he is a failure indeed.
I don't mind if he returns on the Gosens spot, if his salary is reasonable. He has fuel in his tank for 2 decent seasons at least.

He is a scapegoat in a bad team. Vicario will be another scapegoat if they are still shit.

Perisic won a treble with Bayern. Or that was despite him? But all of Tottenham's failures are solely his.

I said none of this. But Bayern didn`t buy him even if the price was more then Ok for a team like Bayern. Tottenham also want to release him. These are facts, from whatever angle you look at the situation.

What I want to say is that Inter will have a problem with selling (low fees), if the clubs are not happy with the players. And seems none of the clubs were/are happy with Icardi, Lukaku, Perisic even Hakimi. If we don`t have to sell this would be completely irrelevant, but as you see we live now from selling players.

Perisic wasn't even sold, he left on a Bosman. We didn't receive any fee for him so why is a player released on a free even in an argument that Inter should undersell their players?

Hakimi and Icardi weren't entirely flops for PSG. But this is a team that buys star names rather than having a clear idea how exactly they want to play rather than who they need or don't. They change coach almost every year.

Lukaku never gave Chelsea/Tuchel a chance cause he saw quickly that they rightfully didn't want to tweak the way they play especially for him to fit there.

The players are treated a bit like robots in football. They should fit the team where they come to play. We can buy a super talented ACM that everyone will wonder why he doesn't play for us when Inzaghi and the 3-5-2 don't have a place for such a player, we need someone like Brozo or now Calha there and the central midfielder plays deeper for us.

Some players fail, others succeed after they move. We now bought a player from Sassuolo despite two players we bought from them didn't come good for Inter. But we risk because Inter likes this player.

Should've Inter backed out from Frattesi because Sensi and Politano weren't what Inter needed? Or should've Inter lowered the demand from Sassuolo because of this?

It doesn't make any sense to do this really. If you like the player you should pay the price as long as you can afford it and it's reasonable. If you can't you move to another target.

You're making this as if other clubs that want Inter players should come and say "We want this player even though the other players you sold are shit so we suspect he'll be shit too so lower the price." No, the price of the player is set based on what this player contributed for the selling club so far. If the club coming to buy the player thinks he's not worth that they should seek elsewhere and this is the position Inter's management should take. Not to accept 18m after they agreed on 23m previously. It's pathetic.

At least i will stop reading about his return to Inter.
No…this is just a tactical ploy by Marotta to avoid a transfer fee…
