I think Javier Zanetti is huge symbol of Inter!
He is always determinated and he is a good "ghost" of a team!

He is my favourite players!
And I respect him for faithfulness for black&blue colours!

Is Javier one of the best right defender in the HISTORY of football or what? Only Thuram (better defensively but little offense) and Cafu (too much offense and no defense) are up there with Zanetti in today's world of football imho.

For me, he is certainly in top 5 of the best right wing-back ever. I won't say the best because there are certainly under-rated right wing-backs in the past that I've never heard of. I don't get why Thuram is better defensively. Yes, he can play as a central defender, but Zanetti himself is colossal as a defender and hardly can a player went past him. For me, they're both as good defensively.

I don't even consider JZ to be on the same level as other players. He is more, and as a symbol of our team, he represents eveything we stand for. Many compliments to him for not being a gloryhunter with the skill he possesses.
