Inter welcome Joao Mario

Inter have also now announced the signing of Joao Mario after Sporting CP confirmed the €40m plus €5m bonuses deal.

The Portugal international flew in on Friday for his medical and to work out the final personal terms.

“I followed Joao throughout the Euros and saw Portugal’s victory in the Final,” said club patron Jindong Zhang.

“Now I hope to see him achieve more success wearing in an Inter shirt.”

Joao Mario will be presented to the fans ahead of this evening’s Serie A match against Palermo at San Siro.
