Cancelo was horrible in most of our games. It was not until the last third of our season that he was even close to acceptable. He couldn't even bench our trash for a while. YES, He showed flashes of ball handling brilliance and the ability to cross, but what did he do to value him at 35/40 million? I may be the only one here who is not butt hurt about this. I love the heart he showed, but tbh what does that all mean if you join Juve anyway.
I would have liked him to stay but for obvious reasons that was not possible due to Valencia and Inter's given situations. Plus if that means a cheaper full back option and the ability to upgrade our mid with Ninja, and Candreva (much more important to upgrade than a full back) so be it.
