If it makes some EPL team buy him, I'll forgive everything
Issue we have in general is that we behave like a top team, which we are, yet we need to sell as if we aren't.
A top team locks players with deals they won't find elsewhere. So when you want to offload these guys, it's very hard to see them move in teams of their actual level so your only hope is to take a capital hit and send them to the Arab peninsula where they'd pay them a high salary.
These guys aren't good enough to be the too earner at teams with the budget to meet our registered book value and if they are, usually the player doesn't want to move.
Don't think any such team can be fooled into buying Correa. Loan + option maybe. Where the option drops the sale value to next year's book value and we have to amortize him ourselves but at least save the salary and whatever the loan fee is.
Our only shot was if Correa played in the World Cup and scored a goal in the process. Otherwise he'll go to a midtable Spanish or English side. Then following season to the next. Till we sell him to Turkey or some Fiorentina/Atalanta team makes a deal with us.
