Lol, Ade is only there on loan. I do agree, he's in no way should be considered a world class player but this deal is a good move for RM since they are gonna have Higuain out for a while and Benzema hasn't been performing well.

The talent is there with Adebayor, no question...Only one that remains really is the one everyone always asks with him, will he fulfill it and play hard or is he merely content with his payday?

Could go either way but I think he has a terrific skill set but poor work ethic

More trouble in Jose land.

I doubt he will survive that. He doesn't have as much support as he had with Inter. He quickly got our love with the fight against juve, and the media and how they were constanty anti inter and all. It doesn't work with madrid supporters I think.

Then there is Perez and Valdano. You just don't feel their confidence in Jose.

On top of it, I read some stories of Jose wanting to leave Real at the end of the season, and go to EPL. Lets not forget it's how it started with us. Comentators said that the next day Jose said he is at Madrid to fullfill his contract... I swear I hear it somewhere before :>

The only thing that would save Jose were results. With his style I mean. If he won, maybe it would be forgiven (although it wans't with Capello mind you, but we know Jose has a special kind of charisma), the way Real wins. But without the wins, the fans will be deffinetly more pissed at the style.

Honestly I don't see Jose serviving for another year. They are already -7, and then there is the derby, which I'm pretty confident they will loose as well.

My bet is Man City.

Don't forget Perez's history of coaches sackings :p I mean like you said Capello was sacked even when he won the La Liga and Pellegrini was too even when he got them 96 points! LOL! Their management is ridiculous and the funny thing is you don't hear their fans complaining enough about it.

Man City would of course have an open arms ready til he decides to go back to England. :p

i'm putting my money on an inter return, he's sending us more signals than a horny air traffic controller talking to a hooker from across the room, he's clearly not happy in spain and leo has expressed his preference to being a director in the past

i also think that he shares the club's vision of a youth-focused inter, he was kind of preparing for that before he left

That would be pure gold. I'm simply not buying Leo's ability to organize and use the team properly.

Jose will be sacked if he doesn't do anything this year. That's a fact. The key factor here is the support he gets from everyone. Jose needs a calm place to work, we gave him that, gave our full support and believed in him. He is under pressure in Madrid, constantly by everyone.. and i think he doesn't like the environment. Even if he isn't sacked, he will leave on his own imo. I don't know if his next stop will be us again, he wants to go to England, but his love for Inter is enormous so let's not exclude that too.

Imagine if we had both Jose and Leo on our bench.

I don't know that Jose is definitely getting sacked if they go trophy-less...I think the more pertinent question would be, will he want to be here next season

This is year 1 of his project...I still maintain that Pellegrini did more with less in the same amount of time and had a more competitive side, as well...But, will Jose ultimately have a more competitive side?...Depends on whether he gets to the end of his project rather than leaving for the Premiership

BTW, only a short look, but I think Adebayor will end up being a genius purchase from RM...Starting to already think he would've been the smarter buy over even Ibra for us last season...When he actually wants to work hard, of course

he asked for RM challenge, and he knows what he's up against.. If he doesn't win anything.. it means he lose it.. coz IMO, he's the most supported coach I have seen in years... I think he will something this year.. I doubt he will stay longer after winning something..

stuff of dreams nate stuff of dreams ;)

One would fix the attack the other the defense because I believe there can be a balance between the attack and defense.I love Leo's attacking style he needs help on defense though ...now together :eek::eek: now tht would be a dream come true to be honest :proud:

I don't think Jose is the type of person who can leave a club without having left his mark, he's a winner and if Perez wants him for another season I think he'll stay. Unless he wins the Copa del Rey or Champions League (they're still in and why not? they're a great team) and leaves saying, I worked in a crappy environment and still got a trophy. And don't forget it's always been Jose's ambition to win all of the 3 top leagues and it can only be done with one of Barca and Real, I think he has burnt a few bridges with Barca :p So this will be one of his opportunities to reach his goal right now. Even though a coach's career lasts long so there's plenty of time for him to win La Liga.

It's impossible Sid. You're talking about perfect tactic, and there is none.

Leo offers more freedom upfront, but in a cost of deffensive stability and easier counter attacking opportunities for our opponents, while Jose offers a great compactness, but less offensive freedom when we're against teams who park the bus. It's just the philisophies, that have offense+deffense closely attached to the other..

You can't take offense from Leo, and deffense from Jose, and make it as one. It doesn't work like that.

We can deffend better with the way Leo would like us to play, but I believe we would need slightly different characteristics for our deffenders (more mobile, quicker), and also 1 or 2 midfielders would do good as well.

But lets wait, and see what Leo can figure out.

i hope he will be success this season with real, though its impossible to win the la liga with fuckin barca wins every game. i hope he can win something else and stays there next season, and then in 2012 he can come back to us.

i dont want to see leo only in one season here.

Mou might wanna reply to Ramon Calderon the former president of RM when he said:

On the subject of Jose Mourinho’s future, he continued, “Mourinho has come here to win titles, not to complain about bad refereeing. That is not the role of the coach.”

:p Thigs are getting complicated and unhealthy environment for Mou.

You're right there is no such thing as perfect tactic but there can be a balance without being too offensive or too defensive..so yes like you I believe we can defend better while playing the way we do now and I think leo believes tht as well..
of course this is his first month so lets give him some time...and yes I agree leo is going to need certain players for us to play the way he exactly wants but one thing I like abt him so far is with our current squad the way we have been creating chances and scoring sometimes without our strikers AND without our only creative player and play maker wes...thts very impressive...of course we did miss julione and samuel in the early games but the future looks good
