The way he has treated his players has resulted in them wanting him to gtfo. It is as simple as that. It was the same in Real Madrid.

Its more to do with his players being burnt out in 2 years at the club he goes just as Capello says. Benitez rightly moaned about our players being squeezed out like oranges in 2010.

I don't think Chelsea players are covering that much distance this year on the pitch as well.

He has humiliated some of his players by the critique he gave them and the actions he did like pulling Terry out in half-time without any reason. Honestly I think some of the players and even some of the etablished ones are tired of his behaviour. We are talking about a club with well known players who have won big trophies before and I don't think all of them appreciate the way he threats them by the words he use about them in the public media and the action he does to them like they were just kids. What he did to Casillas resulted in not just Casillas getting tired of him but Sergio Ramos and other etablished names too. The Madrid team was not impressive on the field and the players didn't ran as much as they could. It is the same in Chelsea now probably because Terry and other big names in the squad are tired of him and they know he will be sacked if the results are shit. They are not stupid.

I don't think it is because the players are burned out as they are tired of winning. I think it more has to do about Mourinhos personality which is great when it comes to motivate even the greatest players but eventually will these players get tired of it after some time.

Sorry but that's bullshit.
Mou won a triple with us, he did everything right.
The mistakes were others why we were in so deep shit after 2010, and one reason is Mr. Benitez.

Moratti's fault as well for refusing to sign new players.

I always had the feeling Benitez got hated on here because Mou hates him, not because he is an 'incompetent' coach.

Surely true also because of the the feud he had with Materazzi (while Materazzi being a fan favorite). But it's not like Benitez had good results with us. Just managed to get 23 out of 45 possible points. Surely that caused fans to "hate" him.

good job mou, making me some money for a while now. even the bookies keep having faith in him, but i fear it's all over.
it'd be funny if rube keeps it 'up' and look for him when he gets axed. the funniest thing in history if he goes there.

Mou will always have a special place in my heart, regardless of all the criticism he gets (except if he ever coaches Juve).
I hope Chelsea turn it around not for their sake but for Mou's sake. :)

This Chelsea team isn't fighting for Mou like his teams always did in the past.

Something is very wrong with this Chelsea team - it's clear as day they play against the coach.

Didn't watch the game, only a 15 minute highlights. But wtf, Chelsea lost almost all of the 50-50 challenge. They look deflated, as if their soul have been sucked out of them. Liverpool on the other hand played with fire in their hearts.

I think Chelsea's season is doomed. It ccan be salvaged had there been a 2-3 weeks holiday for the team to hit that reset button but unfortunately for Jose, in England they play without any Christmas break. It'd take a miracle I feel for them to do well this season.

Still, given his track record, I'd still keep Mou if I were Roman.

Only people inside Chelsea will know whether the players have turned on him, and if they have he probably needs to go. However, you can't find anyone better than him tactically on the market right now, so really no point in canning him mid-season.

I think if the chance to go to France presents itself Mourinho should take it. Clean slate, PSG and probably Monaco will have a large warchest available, and both teams have a good base to them in terms of players.
