Terry, Ivanovic, Fabregas, Hazard, for whatever reason have gotten Mou fired. I think Terry is just crocked, Ivanovic too, but Fabregas and Hazard must have been deeply unhappy with the defensive contribution being asked of them.

Cahill, Zouma, not good enough. Matic has technically been their best player (WhoScored) but he has been used in a different role, and the team has suffered defensively for it (from DMC to MC). And he hasn't been that good offensively to compensate for the reduced defensive contribution.

Costa looks too worried about getting injured to even bother sprinting any more. But man, Hazard has been disappointing. So SO fucking disappointing.

the thing with mourinho is that he needs disciplined soldiers to succeed( i remember cambiasso talking about how he's willing to kill for mourinho), in a club with the underdog mentality, he will convince the club and his players that he is the only one who can make them winners.

that's why his teams eventually collapse, when the players became champions they don't longer want to play his way, they no longer want to enter the pitch with that underdog mentality, i think that this is what happened with chelsea this year, he lost the players because of this, they didn't want to sacrifice anymore and thought that they can do things differently. champions way, a more natural way, not that exhausting hell they used to endure.

i think this was going to happend if he stayed with inter, hell even during that 2010 year we always read about Eto'o talking about sacrificing his natural position for the team, he wasn't happy but he did it anyway for that special year.

and i think that's why he didn't continue in madrid, that's not his type of club.
his way is too difficult for the players, it may get short success but it's never going to last, the players who eventually become champions will always get bored of him.

A half a season off hopefully will allow him to get his mind and tactics back in shape, just like how a year off his first reign at Chelsea before joining Inter helped him regroup. Every manager fails at some point to varying extents, and I'm sure Mou can find a top club in the summer and guide it to glory like he typically does. Though we don't need him, I do wish Jose the best of luck.

When talking about Mourinhos first sack in Chelsea:

Do you remember that Avram Grant took over that season and managed to advance them to both the cup final and the Champions League final? So what is my point with this? The club has proved to be more than capable enough to do well without Mourinho and they definitely know it.

About Hiddink:

Most people thought Avram Grant would be a disaster when he took over for that season as his name wasn't that exotic and interesting as so many other possibilities. It is the same with Hiddink now and I'm sure Hiddink will turn out by doing a great job for the remainder of the season. It is it all over again.

Hiddink's record at Chelsea the first time was 17 - 5 - 1, the players loved him and wanted him to stay. It's only logical that Abramovich would bring him back.

Look who's the Specialist in Failure now?

I think the obvious choices for him is Man U or PSG. I think he would choose PSG because they are very similar to Inter back in 2008. It's a team that dominates domestically and have always fallen in the UCL. It would be hilarious though because he bashed Pep for leaving to Bayern and now he's doing the same.

Mourinho said he likes England because it's a challenge every week to win a game. There is no challenge managing PSG.

Apart from being a professional or not. He was always an arrogant prick who thought he is the best, i didn't like him at Chelsea, because i don't like that kind of people. Then he came to us and he grew on me, i started respecting him, at the very end i fell in love with him, but never understood his questionable handling with words, how he treated fellow coaches with disrespect sometimes without particular reasons. And then he left like a coward without saying goodbye and it made it easy for me to hate him, just because he fulfilled his wish in Italy and would try for the next ride, that is Spain. He needed that title.

And i am a woman, and we have rarely reasonable beliefs.

He was constantly reminding me of how arrogant he is, and i wished him to fail so bad.. Which he did. Twice now.

Thanks for making me laugh.

If I were him, I'd take a break from coaching at least until the summer.

I think your problem is more that you never really liked Mou's personality anyway, on the other side I always liked him so much even before he came to Inter and then even more, and I don't see how could anyone think of him as a traitor, I mean, ok, he went away, but that doesn't make him a traitor at all, he went away after helping us to win our treble...

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm a grateful person and I always wish him the best (I'm actually happier now, because finally I can do the proper thing and hope that Chelsea gets relegated! :D)

Well, to be honest, he is the best..

I would say there are 3 other managers that i would like at Inter before Mourinho - Pep, Simeone, Ancelotti. But hey, that are just my preferences.

Pep? Give him the best players available and he'll succeed, and we lack the money to do so. Luis Enrique won the CL, was it because of his coaching skills or Messi, Neymar and Suarez? Pep is a coach without a Plan B, he would fail hard in Serie A. He took over a team which destroyed Barca 7:0 in CL Seminfinals (4:0 in Munich, 3:0 in Barcelona) and what did he do? He crashed out of the CL against Real 5:0, the year after Barca whooped his sorry ass.

Simeone, fullack. Ancelotti? Too much Milan history with this one...

Hmmm. I wouldn't accuse him of being a traitor. He made it very clear what he came to Inter to do. His contract was only 2 years with Inter asking him for one thing, the Champions League. I don't believe what happened to Inter after was entirely his fault, he does have his personal goals as a football manager and there is nothing wrong with that. The only reason I would hate Mourinho is if he comes back to Serie A to coach Milan or Juve. I would definitely lose respect for him for that.

Very sorry for what has happened with Mourinho. Just like Moratti said about the situation 'in the tunnel which you cannot see the light'

He didnt deserve this after all. I wish him best of luck in his next adventure.

I never saw Pep fail as bad as Mou did this year. Let us also not forget how many times Pep won against Mou. Mou plays turtle football, Pep has never played like a defensive bitch. If there is any coach out there that will go to EPL and have better win percentage than Mou, it is Pep. Mark these words. Big clubs want Pep because he guarantees titles. Same used to be said for Mou, but he is kinda losing it. Ain't the same coach he was after the second Real season.

And how can you forget all the injuries Bayern had...

I can't remember anything football related that has surprised me more in the last few years than this what's happening with Chelsea. Just 4 months ago they were in a Wenger-esque type of delusion that only players of certain level could improve their game.

I was surprised when Pep chose Bayern, who were just yet another local overlord, like Barca. But that was at least amusing.

Since Blanc stays at PSG, can't see where he's going. Surely it's smart for him to wait till the end of season, and wish him luck. He is capable of learning things so he probably see that must change his approach in some views.

He won the CL with Barca, just like genius Luis Enrique. His style of football wins games 5:0, come CL semifinal, the same style will lose 5:0.

Winning the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal? I could name you 10 coaches in the bundesliga who'd be able to do it with Bayern Munich. Once Pep leaves Bayern Munich, without a CL Title of course, he'll be considered a failure in german media. He won the CL twice, with the best attack in football history, while Mourinho won it with Porto and Inter. Pep would never win the CL with Porto or Inter...

Injuries? Go and have a look at the starting lineups vs Real and Barca and tell me which position was filled by a backup. Injuries had nothing to do with the cl elimination, it was Pep's lack of a Plan B.

I wouldn't compare Pep with Jose unless Pep goes coaching Arsenal for example, like the rumour says. Jose takes challenges, and proved he is capable. Guardiola, so far, plays it safe.
