There's plenty of time to recover from that, so Hakan will most likely be ready for the match. It's not like he's injured or whatever.

A little worried regarding that LCB spot. Not sure if Augusto should be given a chance in such situation or Acerbi should take over that position. Regardless, we should be fine though.

Need so much aggressivity and urgency in Sunday. We need to take every advantage of their mediocrity. This is the worst side of gobbi since I am watching football and would be a shame to bend over that team. Our team's task is mental aspect more than anything else since Allegri knows that we have more quality, so he'll be trying to bait us.

It's almost 5 AM here in Europe. I don't think they are real people, most probably search robots.

Unlike them he won a title. The guy is professional even though he is absolutely crazy.
With how things were looking, Spalletti did so many things right that he always deserves a mention. We haven't been out of CL spots since Spalletti came and then after that we started growing in good players and mentality.

Spalletti didn't get the same kind of investments Conte got. Spalletti was done in terms of the locker room but he was the first step in the club evolution and Juve was much stronger in those times.

Saplletti did amazing job his first season, but he failed to build on the top of it. His brightest transfer, Nainggilan was a complete failure, and we lost "ready to start talent" like Zaniolo in the process. Spalletti needs very quality players upfront in order for his football to click well. Otherwise, we were very solid on the back.
It's true that Conte got more investments, but that was justified at the end, because no one from top investments didn't flopped and we won the title at the end.

Justified in the end, yes said now after we saw him win one Scudetto. The squad available for him was so much better than Spalletti's. Compared to Spalletti he got Barella, Eriksen, Hakimi, Bastoni added (if we consider Icardi <-> Lukaku and Vidal <-> Nainggolan in terms of what coaches had/wanted). Can't emphasize the difference in quality.

I agree, but the coach has some influence on the market as well. Barella is not on Conte, but Lukaku, Young, Moses, Darmian, Alexis and the rest from EPL are. Keeping Bastoni and making him starter as well. Spalletti could have done the same with Zaniolo instead to waste money for 9n. Eriksen came in the middle of first season, but didn't play a lot, Hakimi came in 2nd season of Conte. The difference is the big leap which we made from Spalletti's second season to Conte's first one. And the 2 most expensive signings were Lukaku and Barella. If you compare them to Icardi and 9n back in time, I'd foresee that many Inter fans will pick up the latter duo easily.
In the fact, the team was playing good with the likes of Moses, Cuntdreva, Biraghi and Young on the wings, and Vecino and papa Valero getting significant playing time as well (mostly due to Sensi injury). We immediately raised up to 82 points from 69 with Spalletti.

My point is Conte had considerably better squad at his disposal when he won the Scudetto which justified the investments in your books. Eriksen and Hakimi are counted in for sure since they were part of that winning team.

According to Football-Italia, Locatelli might not make it for this one. He hasn't trained yet due to a cracked rib. I'm not even sure if that's any advantage since I don't even think he's THAT good.

Danilo is also out. De Sciglio and Weah out as well but they aren't as impactful as Danilo is.

We should keep an eye on Chiesa, as the biggest threat comes from him. Kean is mediocre af, but he's physically strong and tends to create havoc in the opponents box because he's rather unpredictable at times, mostly because he's garbage but he can still score some fluke goals and you never know his next move lol.

Can't wait for the match. Fuck these International breaks man.

Says a lot about how the past two years have impacted the way I look at De Vrij, because I’m even worried about him coming up against Kean.

I know De Vrij is on the up, but he’s installed in me a sense of “the next fuck up is just around the corner”.

I smell a shining match from Chiesa tbh. Our entire defenders tend to handle big & strong strikers very well (Haaland or Lukaku). But all have weaknesses against quick and skillful foxes, like Berardi or him, for obvious reasons.

Cannavaro- or Cordoba-esque would handle really well. But we have no one agile enough.

The only answer might be isolate him and crush Juve from the midfield.

Well actually, any defender would have a hard time playing against players like Chiesa whom are known for explosiveness. Berardi is rather physical and technical IMO, but Chiesa is known for his trickery. You can never count him off. I don't think he's THAT good but his tenacity is what makes him for what he is. He never gives up, no matter how many times he fails, he will always be there trying and eventually succeed.

Don't wanna sound over-confident but I think we should be fine regardless of their setup/line-up selection. They do have quality, but we are superior.

I'm more worried about us not being able to score rather than conceding. They don't create that much from open play. But their defence is actually very difficult to break.

Hopefully our players will realize how difficult it will be. We should take every advantage of these chances we create because being too wasteful against a team like gobbi might bite us in the ass, real bad though.

It's gonna be interesting to see what will Limone decide at the back.

If we score first, as soon as it happens, Juve will do anything to score 2 as fast as possible. It's annoying how they transform in those situations.

You're underestimating their patience. They aren't that naive to open up right away and leave plenty of space behind. I can see them remaining tactically strict until the late part of the match while they will be forced to go all out attack and save the day.

Scoring early would be great but I can't see it happening.

This will be a game of details also a game of patience. Whoever is more patient and commits less of these little details, will win. I'm assuming both teams will start the match cautiously.
