Sneijder clapping.

There was another player of ours who clapped and got sent off. Can't remember who.
Vidic was the most recent Inter player that was sent off for clapping sarcastically at the referee.

Look on the bright side:

Everything shows we are on the rise, and they know it. From Buffon starting the time-wasting from the 70th minute, to Dybala being replaced by Rugani, to the resorting to ref help. All of this at the J stadium.

We're relevant again :eek:blivious:

Without hanging too much on this, from this angle it definitely looks like Mandzukic missed the ball and Icardi made the first touch. Click on it to see the vid.

I can understand Rizzoli not seeing it but how did the referee next to the goal miss it?

It was clear, no matter the angle - the ball didn't change its trajectory at all... The one on D'Ambrosio tho is even clearer.

Anyway, I'm not a fan of complaining about the refs, but Rizolli dug his own grave banning not one, but two of our best players for nothing.

Everyone makes mistakes, but that shit just went too far. And as an extra, the precedent with Bonucci where he gets away with a far graver offence. Very convenient.

alright perfromance. we pretty much matches them all game. took a world class screamer to serperate us. although i would say juve looked more dangerous

i am not sure about penalties. i dont think its as bad as some say anyway

palacio coming on instead of barbosa annoys me. i understand gabigol might not be ready but with 10 mins left hes a better bet to make something happen than palacio who hasnt done anything of note all season.

with copa exit when will this kid get his minutes? eder and palacio probably in for perisic and icard i bet next few games

Honestly the Bonucci-Rizzoli still makes it look far worse than it actually was:

Honestly I can put up with this one. Type of situation where both players reach the ball at virtually the same time. Could be difficult to see what happened in real time.

The D'Ambrosio one though is perplexing. Seemed very clear to me. Although I've seen two non Juve publications (CDS and mediaset I think) say that it wasn't a penalty either? Not sure how that works unless D'Ambrosio was grabbing Lichtsteiner's shirt too.

Now that I have calmed down a bit, I see your point. The fact of the matter is that if it were EPL or even Europe, Inter would have got 1 or 2 penalties, and Chiellini would have been sent off quite early. But it wasn't EPL or Europe. In Italy, Referees are too relaxed about shirt pulling and grabbing in the penalty area. In Italian terms, the Dumbo and Mandzukic incidents were 50-50 calls, and the Icardi-Chiellini one was probably too tough to call in real time (without replays to help).

We are feeling hard done by coz:

1. We got suspensions (which were probably deserved). But Chiellini didn't.
2. When a ref gives two 50-50 calls against you, he usually makes up for it if a 3rd 50-50 call happens. Rizzoli didn't.

I agree, but I really hate how usually the majority of the 50/50 decisions go against us when playing Juve.

Anyway what's done is done, we need to focus on the next matches. There's no point in hanging on these decisions as they will never be corrected.

I'll go ahead and state the obvious: this is why it's beneficial to have an Italian captain, especially one who is on the national team.

You saw De Rossi get sent off against Porto last September for a tackle on Pereira where he broke the guy's ankle. In Italy, De Rossi only gets a yellow for that imo, because he's De Rossi and he's Italian.

It's a shame, because it shouldn't be the case, but it's the reality of the matter. The best thing that could happen to us is that Gagliardini grows into a great NT player and a club leader.

Italian nationalistic supremacy BS in full effect...Rather they focus on developing their own talent...
Atalanta and Sass are the only ones focused on this
