Busquets had 2 excellent traits and was mostly average in everything else. If you have a top team, you can highlight a few excellent traits. If you are Busquets and you need to do more shit, then your actual level will be revealed.

Same applied to Pique. And previously to Valdes and even more previously to freaking Oleguer of all people. But at least even the Barcelonistas knew that Oleguer was shit, but at least he was their shit. With the rest, new age fandom hit them, and they bruised our balls about how amazing they were.

Calling a mistake out, is ok.

But calling a mistake out, then going above and beyond to extremes to prove to yourself that you're right by naming scenarios that kinda happened and "what ifs" that compliment your narrative, for the sole purpose to make the others agree with you is a very dangerous toxic trait.


His good stuff by far are more impactful by his mistake. What is there more to talk?

but even before this, all the good stuff he does everyone or a particular group, always finds the negatives and make them sound horrible. Like we have some schelotto on our hands, or kharja.

He seems to have matured a lot this season. I’d like to see him come in for Miki/Barella ahead of Frattesi/Klaassen at times. I don’t see why he can’t play as a CM also.

He probably would be better there, but currently Frattesi is far to be preferred, so it would just mean even less playing time for him.

I think we should try to offload him if there are any decent offers. He’s never hitting his peak here while understudying Calhanoglu. Ideally we recoup some money on his book value and turn that into a more attack-minded mid. I see Zielinski being a better deputy to Hakan anyway.
