Can we pair up Lucio and Materazzi? What about Samuel and Chivu?

The first choice pair imho will be lucio-samuel with chivu as first reserve and then cordoba. Materrazi is 5th rotational guy.

Chivu is an alternative to Lucio, first of all. They are the most similar given their abilities with the ball at their feet. Cordoba is a bit unique, since no other CB resembles him, but he'll probably be Samuel's back-up. Materazzi will not be playing much, but first of all, he is Samuel's back-up. However, his long balls can be a variation from Lucio and Chivu's way of playing the ball.

Having 6 CB is too much. I think Mou specified that as well. I think Burdisso have to move on from that list and Matrix being rotational

Lucio - Samuel? sounds great but they'll have to play deep, counter attacks could kill the pair.

I listed the defenders I believe will be at Inter next season and categorized them by which side of central defence they are playing. Rivas is going on loan probably but Burdisso seems reluctant to leave. Hopefully his agent can convince him to leave after the agent have had meeting with Inter management (same agent as Rivas's).

Although I refuse to trust Burdisso in important matches, he might be staying if Zanetti will play midfield. If Zanetti is a defender next year, Burdisso might as well leave because there isn't room. But it's not as simple as this, obviously.

What is up with this guy now? Other reports state that he had his medical and is going to LA, but there is still nothing official, neither from any of the Inter directors nor the web-site.
