Yes and I have hope it remains so. But only if we offer him a fair contract. If we lowball him, pretty sure he starts to sulk and act badly. Or at least his agent. And it will affect his performances for sure. I have also hope none that will happen as we can tie him to a new contract.

I say fuck him if he wants to go earn 10 mio then move to fucken barca just know that barca will have to pay up no bs 110mio cash.
But ofcourse barca as always is trying to lure the player with an over inflated offer 10mio and then tries to lowball us with 50mio + what ever bs they got laying around from their youth squad fuck that.

Remember rafinha who we wanted to keep and who wanted to stay here did we get any discounts? Fuck no barca rather let him rott on their bench to loan him to celta one year later.

Players are really spoiled and I hope COvid will put some things in perspective. You are not exist without fans, motherfuckers. I personally watched 2 games in last 2-3 months and it's nit like life doesn't make sense any more.

Also, every time after 5-6 good months player wants new, bigger contract but I never hear that club wants reduce contract when player is in terrible form for months. They're very spoiled.

The argument is not whether he's being mistreated but whether or not he has cause to leave.

Or simply not cause but desire to leave, irrespective of how well treated, paid or supported by fans/club

Barca can you feel how big hypocrites people at your club became and are you ashamed of that?

Honestly

I had huge respect for Barca like forever but this things lately, especially in last 4-5 years are completely off from identity club has built for decades.

Barca cutting their current players wages in order to give Toro 10 mil , yep! That's gonna go down well.

Plus if Barca trigger our release clause I am sure there will be eyes in their financial dealings over the past 18months.

Toro has not publicly said anything , could mean either his silence is due to his desire to leave and does not want to make any mistakes publicly should the deal fall through!

Or his silence could mean that chooses to raise above media BS as he is contracted to inter , and only speak should something tangible happen.

Bartomeu & Rosell? I hate them. There's no hypocrisy, they are criminals and I despise their involvement with the club. I didn't vote for them anymore than I did Trump, but this is the BS we are faced with

According to CdS, Lautaro already told conte he wants to sign for that club.

Zero discounts, please, Beppe. 111M or GTFO.

That is an article from Fcinternews, not from any real paper/reporter. Lautaro hasn't renewed his contract.
It doesn’t say he renewed his contract. It says, inter is ready do double his contract, from 2.2mil.
Regardless, if Inter offering him 5-6 mil, which i would completely agree, and Barca comes like assholes they are, and offers him 10mil, and a chance to play with Messi, which seems to be quite installed in LM’s head, then it’s a no brainer.
And I would not hold a grudge against him for that. It’s all about money in today’s world. Like it or not.

Yes unfortunately. I'd still try some kind of contract offer with rising salary after every season with some triggers for the rising component (like through the group stage in CL or something which gives money to the club). I want that this club keeps hold of its best players.

But if it's Barca or nothing, Lautaro needs to persuade Barcelona to pay the clause then. :D

Selling one Lautaro and smartly investing the money could actually be the shot in the arm we need to be a top team.

Of course we could also go the Spurs route and buy flops. It’s certainly a risk but I believe in our management and coach more than I have since Mourinho left.

The only problem with selling Lautaro is that it's not a great market for strikers right now.
Werner would have been the natural choice, but it's not happening. Mertens will renew with Napoli. Cavani could be useful, but it's an expensive short term solution and he looks Atleti bound.
The only striker available I'd even take a second look at is Aubameyang, who is 30

Please no to Aubameyang. The guy is so fucking overrated, I don't want him here.

Who would you take over Aubameyang? A realistic option. Don't tell me Sancho, Havertz etc.

I am not very fond of Aubameyang but I don't see anyone better we can realistically get. The best option for us is keeping Lautaro.

formation change to have a DMC, eriksen and Lukaku, a decent reserve striker but doesnt need to be a starter, and invest the money in wing backs and some younger talent
