Henry is generally the best pundit on that show but he's being biased there. If there's one play you are going to go revisit, it has to be the Lukaku miss, as that was by far the easiest chance to score.

However, Henry was the assistant coach at Belgium and Lukaku's friend so of course he's going to bring up the other chance - not a fan of that at all. Regardless of whether he has a relationship with Lukaku, as a pundit you have to bring up Lukaku's miss as the big moment if you're going to bring something up.

At first I yelled at him for not passing the ball but Lulaku is surrounded by 3 or 4 City players, can't blame the Belgian too since he was alone in the box so moving away from them all was impossible.

Maybe pass it to the Inter guy just outside the box ? Don't know which player it was but I guess that was the better option.
There was more options than passing the ball or hit the ball aimlessly in that situation but Lautaro panicked.

The best thing he could do is to try to pass the ball to Brozo. But we all saw it multiple times his awareness of team players around him isn't good. He is our best forward but he isn't a world-class striker. Still, we have to keep him since he is the only decent striker we have.

If I was Lautaro I'd try to chip Ederson, because if he doesn't score there is still a chance Lukaku somehow gets close and tries to put it in.

But I can't blame him too much for shooting there.

I think he wanted to, he just panicked a bit
Problem is he wanted to pass, which is why he didn't hit first time, but there was no option so he just tried to take the keeper by surprise.

A low shot would have been expected but it'd also be the best course of action.

That needs a lot of technique and composure and only elite players would manage to do that in that situation. I don't think that was a realistic decision to make. To me the best decision was to either dribble past Ederson or hold Ederson there for a little bit more till more players get in the right position for Lautaro to pass. He did neither and decided to just hit the ball at him and see how it goes.

I think toro had the skills to pull off a couple of fients and sit Ederson down and go around or at least get a better angle …but heat of the moment, the stage etc… I get it

A first time lob would have done the trick. As soon as Lautaro starts to plot and think he loses his mojo. His best actions are a product of instinct and spontaneity.
You cannot blame him for not scoring there though. If you blame him for that you’d have to kill Foden on the opposite.

I couldn't believe how Foden couldn't score from there. He didn't even make it hard for Onana.

Kane is so over rated.... honestly real should just get Lukaku on loan then wait for a top #9 for a year from now.

Tho if they want to break a transfer record for a streaky striker would prefer they go for our overrated streaky striker

Kane has been very consistent this season, scoring 30 in 38 for a shitty Tottenham side. Far from streaky.

Madrid spent already. Out of the question. We can't sell him. Who are we gonna play if we sell him too?
I wonder if those sad tears were because he could have had the perfect season, winning the world cup and the CL for us, then leave, or simply cuz he's grown to be the leader of the team and really loves our colours.

It looks like another bullshit by UK media

🚨RUMOUR: Lautaro Martinez has told close friends that he wants to join Chelsea this summer. A fee of around £60m is expected to be enough to get a deal done.
