What surprised me about Lazar is that he's waay too young because to me he seemed to be playing like a senior player.

Everytime i saw him i was thinking he´s like 26-28. Then after some months i discovered he's only 21

luckily I’m not eating because I would have choked with laughter . Seriously though when we were rumoured to be interested in both him and Fratessi, I thought it would be one or the other but not both. So this is really a fun surprise, really glad I don’t have to worry about clowns in the middle for now, based on everything potentially working out of course.

This guy seems like a real deal and he brings what we have lacked last year, he can actually dribble. I'm sorry for Fabbian but maybe this is for the best, he's gonna get playing time in Udine and we'll have chance to buy him back in a year or two.

There’s not too many clubs in Italy I’d rather see Fabbian go to more than Udinese. They’ve done a wonderful job at developing players over the years. And they’ve lost Pereya and most likely Samardzic this summer. Perfect for Fabbian.

Love a left footer that can dribble and shoot. I was once hyped about Ricky Alvarez for the same reasons back in the day.

So after this is done, we will have invested a net 22m on our new midfielders (25m for Frattesi and 15m for Samardzic, after discounting the value of Fabbian and Mulattieri, less 18m from sale of Brozovic). Which equals +4.4m per year assuming 5 year amortization.

But we will also save -6m in gross wages between the outgoings (Broz 11m, Gag 4m) and the incomings (Frattesi 6m, Samardzic 3m).

Of course Samardzic and Frattesi will be due for a wage increase pretty soon if they perform to the expectations but for the time being, they look like amazing businesses.

It's a pretty decent summer imho. I'd say we've definitely upgraded midfield & made it a lot younger too

When this gets over the line, I think we have far and away the best midfield in Italy.

Could use someone a little taller, but the CBs all being absolute monsters height wise (Acerbi, Bisseck, Bastoni) hopefully makes up for it.

I just really hope we get another CB, two GKs and a striker before the window closes. If we can do all that it's a pretty good summer imho.
