Cuchu has made us less predictable he assists in the build up of play and his absence was evindent in Lisbon where we faced pressuring defences and lost with no creativity in sight.

I pretty much agree with that trio Alex, and would like to add Zlatan to make it a quartet.

Crespo have never before been in a form like this before, is that what you are saying? That, then again, is kind of hard to agree with.

Yes, that's what i mean, but more for Matrix than with Crespo, Crespo best form was probably with Lazio or Parma, but if we talk about goals/for minutes played, he is in his best season :)

This is the funniest Inter team, ever.

We've been struggling to beat Lazio at the Olimpico for years, and here, we beat them with a man down, no less.

Either that, or we're really good. :D

Thanks, Inter. :star:

Ciao,
Tim

what a performance, that's how a team full of champions wins games, we fight and tussle and then in some moments make some awesome passages of play, Ibrahimovic is at the centre of all of them.

 @ Materazzi's celebration, hilarious, anyone know what he was doing with the army walk (Vieira's reaction was like...."*awkward smile*, this guy is TRULY nuts")....and then kissing Figo's boot, what a deadset champion, Zanetti has a companion now as the symbol of Inter.

Two other points, Burdisso-Materazzi partnership, I remember a few months ago I was the first to raise this up, I said that whilst Materazzi is the first CB pencilled in for matches, his ideal partner would be Burdisso who's attributes absolutely go hand in hand with Materazzi's, they are the best partners for each other and I'm happy that a few months later this is turning out true. Other than the first 8 minutes and the little mistake by Matrix (he cleaned his own mistake up btw), they were the one's who kept the team calm and positive.

Another point is Stankovic & Crespo, both made some mistakes (especially Crespo's miss, very un-Crespo like) but they deserve praise for sticking the boot in and rectifying their mistakes. Crespo with the assist and Stankovic for working his butt off and making plays.

!!

Honourable mention goes to Julio Cesar who made some very good saves this game. Catanha, I also noticed in Matrix's celebratinos he was pointing somewhere and giving them the 'hush' gesture..

Amazing... we haven't beat Lazio in Rome in a decade and we go in, play with 10 men for the entire 2nd half and manage to get a somewhat comfortable 2-0 win. Honestly, I thought this was where our streak was gonna end but it seems this Inter is vastly different to past Nerazzurri teams.

Ever since the Bayern ass whopping at the Meazza, this team has been nothing short of excellent. :star:

I haven't posted in a while but this time it's just a must to accolade this win against Lazio, which I have been waiting since the unfaithful 5th May game.

What's more to come this season after away victories against Milan, Fiorentina, Palermo, Roma, Parma and now Lazio. Almost all of our tough games in the second round of the championship will be home games, which should be a big advantage for us. If we still fail to win the Scudetto, then I wonder when will it happen (on the field, I meant).

FORZA INTER !!!! :proud:

I finally see the persistance u saw in burdisso, catanha..and i have to say, up until now, you have been a 100% right and again, his highlight , is his silent commanding...jus like the nesta cannavaro partnership....cannavaro will be all over the place doing crazy stunts meanwhile nesta does the crazy things in the most simplest manner....i wish him the best...to continue like this.

have you noticed that the whole stadium cheered "Tutti pazzi per Materazzi" !??
amazing.....
have to say that Lazio is a solid team, but this Inter of ours is just :star:
even Figo made his contribution:howler:
burdisoo-matrix combo did very well, cesar( whom i used to dislike ) is turning into a great GK...
hell,even Mancini made great subs.....
wish to see Recoba from the start on Saturday....

FORZA INTER!

the boys were excellent this night. also mancini was very brave to have adri (man is this guy the same as the one a year ago???:depress:) when the boys are 1 man down, and figo was a winner as well.
the red (also the yellow) card of Ibra was just ridiculous, it's getting desperate how our opponents get advantage of referees EVERY time, no matter if the team plays at the Meazza or away  moggi's&berlusconi's f*cking cheating bastards

We can't be more satisfied.Nice touch, nice move, briliant skill and great team work.We won for the first time since 1996/97 at the Lazio homeground and even managed to score another goal when we were down to ten man because of the referee's ridiculous dicision.
I rate this game the best performance of this season so far.The confidence shown by our team on the pitch really impressed me and I never saw it before.Credit must go to mancini, who combine tactics and individual's character so well.
I really believe we can make some great achievements in this season.
Forza Inter!

Few seasons ago, they made the right decision when they named our official song: 'Pazza Inter'. :)

Didn't watch the first half, but watched the second... we weren't playing some attractive football, but we tactically outclassed Lazio... We played very mature. And of course, we deserved the win! One more, and we'll break the record!

Back to issue with Ibra.
While watching the match live, I thought that two laziale players (Zauri and Cribari) want to stop referee showing the second yellow to Ibra. As there are no big misunderstandings between Inter and Lazio fans, I thought that Cribari is true gentleman. But after downloading the Ibra red card video, I can say that Cribari is phuking ba$tard. And the same goes to Zauri as well...
