I still don’t know why is Gagliardini playing. What exactly is he adding that both Barella and Vidal aren’t.

He’s taller and wins more headers. He’s stronger in physical duels than any of Brozovic, Sensi or Eriksen. All of this pretty important in Conte’s plan to deal with Milinkovic-Savic.

My gripe is that I still think the positives that Brozovic or Sensi provide outweigh these advantages Gagliardini has.
