The last time we beat Lazio barring the 98 UEFA Cup Final was...I can't even remember. But I remember that it took an own goal by Nesta. We badly need a win but against a rejuvenated Lazio in Olimpico (5 matches, 4 wins, 1 draw), I am very pessimistic. But ah, let's not stop dreaming eh? ;) If Roma can end their abysmal run in San Siro, if we can end our horrific run in Friulli, we can end our terrible run against Lazio too! So, it goes without saying, forza Inter! :star:

bah, lets be nice to Milos and let Lazio win this one.

Knowing our players they will play with no emotion whatsoever. Just give them their fat paychecks.

I'm not even going to try and hide my pessimism for this one. It will take an Inter side with balls to beat Lazio in their current form.

DiCanio will be out for a month.

I am not sure how much they'd miss him because I have not seen much of them.

This will be a vital game, like a final, we just must win. We did it in Udine, we can do it in Rome.

Lazio look better than last year (also have a better coach) and we look worse than last year. We're also playing almost 2 games a week during this stretch. I smell a draw at best.

Pessimism is starting to set in.

milan hater I dont think we are worse than last year we just need to get the players like samul-cordoba to get used playing with each other remember last year when we kept changing our defence we let in a goal most of the time.we need time guys we are in no crisis arsenal are going through a crisis.

If we are to get back on track, then we need J.Zanetti back. We are suffereing now, coz there's no support in offence from the wing backs. Cordoba is been played as right back, who's not good offensively. And in Favalli's case, he's doing his best he can and we can't expect much from him.

There's no support from our wingbacks in offense at all, with respect to Favalli.

A WIN AGAINST LAZIO COULD MEAN - WE WILL SURELY WIN SCUDETTO !!!!!

That's how tough for us to win against Lazio. I WANT J.ZANETTI BACK IN THE LINE UP !!

J.ZANETTI ---- CORDOBA ---- SAMUEL ---- FAVALLI

We need that .... :fero:

We are looking worse compared to the Inter of the second part of the season. However, comparing Inter at this stage of last season with Inter at this stage of this season, we have 5 more points, hence, we can't be worse. You must not simply forget about the performances we made against Livorno, Fiorentina, Udinese, Chievo, etc.

Not saying that we will win this though. But since this year our performance is very erratic and inconsistent, I don't see why we can't win this one after doing poorly in our last 2 matches.

Are we really worse than last year? I remember last year many of us wanted to convert every 2 draws (2 points) into 1 win + 1 loss (3 points). That's pretty much what we are doing now. Calm down guys, we are only 8 points behind Gobbi, and on Saturday Bilan proved that they are not invincible!

The pessimism is spreading. With our current form in the league right now, beating Lazio would be a difficult task. And if we do want to beat them, we would definitely need Il Capitano back. Is he available for this game?

From what I've seen from Lazio so far, they are nothing short of being pathetic.
We should be able to beat them, they are so slow when they counter attack, it's more like bulldozers trying to counter-attack.
If we fail to beat the likes of Lazio, then why do we expect a scudetto or a champions league?

Helal,Lazio's good home form does take away the fact that they indeed are a pathetic team........let's be serious their performances are far from being convicing.
If we fail to beat them, then I'm afraid we are more pathetic than they are :yuck:

Helal all I'm trying to say is that we have no excuse if we draw or lose against them.......just take a look at their team in comparison to ours, and for my money anything short of a victory is simply unacceptable.
OK since you insist I'll stop calling them pathetic :D
