Our problem is our defence SUCKS. our problem is we have Favalli at left back, and even with him at left back, Tall and good in the air, and a better defender th en all mentioned and we still stuck!

what happens when we get Dede, Maxwell etc... who they will start to attack! we will be even more vulnerable! u see my point, we have Favalli who doesnt attack and we still suck back there.

I want a player who will defend well, who can attack, and msot of all can do well on set pieces and still be quick on the ground.

only 1 player fits this: Chivu...now you know why he must play LB and not CB.

This defence, has 2 attacknig wing backs, who are awesome defenders, and it gives us one of the fastest back 4, and best in the air back 4 going around.

Hamed your wrong. Look at Carlos. He attacks like a mofo, and never gets back, look how vulnerable they are. The more u stay back the more covered u are, trust me.

You have to have an LB that is capable of attacking and crossing, that is the bottom line. All the great teams have one: Van Bronckhorst, Cole, Zambrotten, Heinze etc. If you want to play up there, you have to have to attacking fullbacks.

I agree with Hamed. attacking fullbacks are needed for better coverage over the wings.
That is why I want Jankulovski in the left (or Dede), and Chivu in the center.

How much is Janku an admirer of Milan? I know he said nice things about them, but was it more of 'prostituting' yourself or actual admiring? I know he is Czech, so chances are slim he is a Milan fan.

He remains our best chance, he can play LB and LW. I don't think it's a matter of money or starting place, it will be down to his choice, we can outmatch Milan's offer.

who said Chivu cant attack down the wing. Hecan attack just as much as the next full back, and to come with it, his good in the air and can get back to defend better ten Maric can, better then Maxewell and Dede can.

I'm surprised you forgot Potenza, you were so high on him. We have good youngsters in LB, so Lazarri is a no-no.

The reasonable solution in my book will always be Lazaari…Unless of course we re-call Potenza or Pasquale

Hehe, he's actually been used as a RB this season, mostly as a substitute for Bonera (He can play on the left though) Something tells me Parma would like his services for another season, especially since it looks like they're on their way down. & I doubt Bonera would enjoy going down with them

One thing I’m eager to know, how much do you guys think Chivu is going to cost? Especially since Inter isn’t the only club after his signature?

I think he cost Roma in the range of 18 million euro, so to even think of tempting the Giallorossi, the lucky club has to bid of a fee much higher than 20 million euro at least…Besides Cris (Chivu) prefers to play as a central defender than a LB.

Potenza is not evev close to be our starting player. He can play many positions and LB is not his favourite, so u can include him.

Id even rather Burdisso at LB then Potenza, cause most people forge his a natural CD, or RB

Actually Maldini was a Juve fan when in his childhood ,you'd find out all of their fans are kids except for the 14 members of Black & White :dielaugh: .

I really hope Potenza comes back ,I'm sure he will be a great player if he gets to play enough.

A left back should be a top priority for Mancini in this transfer window.. Yes we have Favalli there and he is doing a good job but he is 33 years old, we need a young face that can take the reigns and eventually take over from Favalli for the future if not straight away..
Some possible players i have come up with are:
