u'r still defending Rafa with ur ideas..
How am I deffending Benitez, when my whole post was about Leonardo, and the difference between taking the coach who had many successes in the past, against the coach who didn't have.

I know I was so vocal back in a day about Benitez, that now people think, whatever I write, well... it must be about Benitez.

Well it isn't, and it wasn't Omar.

4-2-1-3

Abbiati
Abate/Zambrotta Nesta Silva Antonini
Ambrosini Pirlo
Seedorf
Pato Borriello Ronaldinho

j.Cesar
Maicon Lucio Ranocchia Zanetti/Chivu
Cambiasso Motta
Sneijder
Pandev Milito Eto'o
Yeah.

But there is big difference here in these sheets, and that is what I would fear first and foremost. Pato/Ronaldinho vs Pandev/Eto'o. The first one offer a lot more creativity especialy through Ronaldinho.

Also they had Pirlo and Seedorf, plus Silva in the center. Overaly Milan is better technicaly, and we would have to make couple signings to raise in this department.

Anyways we'll see. This Leo tactic doesn't seem bad, but it's key deffensively apparently is high deffensive line, which I know how many of you loved under Benitez... :p

Well a man like Walter Zenga who is a Nerazurri through and throughout, he is a Pure Blood, he would of been the perfect choice 2 lead us 2 glory! but instead we choose someone who has a long history and a huge affection with milan.

I for one am not happy about signing this halfblood milanista piece of sh*t

u'r already preparing excuses for Leonardo with ur usual comments about transfers policy .. something that makes me mad tbh, coz u sound like " it's not the coach's fault, it's our lack of transfers " as usual.. that's why i said u were defending Rafa.. moreover u'r already creating excuses for Leo if he duzn't improve the situation..

lucky Leo, he's gonna have the squad kinda expanded with expected transfers this Jan, at least the confirmed one of Ranocchia.. and for that, i'm not gonna give any kind of excuses if he fails to improve the performances after Rafa's .. becoz it's still pretty much the same squad that won a treble last season..

You're taking hundreeds of my reflections here about the issue, and you make it sound way too simplistic.

It's more complex than that.

And again, I was NOT deffending Benitez. We were speaking about something different.

i just can't wait to see the first few games to see if anything changes, i won't be critical until a few games in though, because whatever has been happening to the team is not coach related, but a GOOD coach could definitely snap some more motivation into the team.

According to AzzLikr, anyone who follows fact that Leonardo has proved nothing in his career as a coach only believes this because they are influenced by other posts......or Harry Potter lol.

Yes he is the best available candidate, but that doesn't mean we ignore the facts he has yet to do anything significant.

my harry pooter remark came about from the whole full bloood half blood comment. nothing to do about anything else.

as for my stand on leo its very simple....im not super happy about it as he's a milanista through and through, but the situation at our club at the moment calls from some very severe actions.

I see you are still mad because you got schooled in another topic.

The facts and statistics speaks for themselves in Leo's case. No need to elaborate. With the limited potential he had at Milan he did brilliant.

lol azzlikr...I got schooled? how the fuck so.

Mine is not an opinion, it is pure fact. If you can't accept that, go back to arguing with Luka, you will do better there.

If you're bored, just go put on Milan Vs Juve or Milan Vs Real, that will make you feel better. Wack off to it too. Both those teams were shitty last season, so it's not exactly a giant killer.

So he walked into via durini with a CV that highlighted 2-3 games. That's enough for your ass licking self to get off on. You're the supposed pessimist around here, so what makes this case different...you think his cute or something? ffs..

I love to see this scenario at the end. Inter wins the scudetto and Leonardo declares "As a child I was an Inter fan" :).

Good luck to Leonardo. Hope he brings some quality players at least.

I don't like traitors, even if they have betrayed their previous team for the sake of Inter. I'll never change my mind about this, even if Leo become the next Mourinho.

Not as much as seeing Rafa's back but:
Welcome Leo!

I've read mixed responses so far which is understandable. Away from emotion, a closer look could prove helpful.

Initially, he was probably the best option available. Also, it seems that this appointment had been arranged for a while ago since news broke out about his dinner with Moratti.

What can he bring to the table with Inter?
Well, having played in the league and won it with our cousins gives him perspective definitely. Another plus would be his management of a top flight team in AC last season, having to deal with the demands, pressures and the media that such a club attracts.

Psychology:
His age could also be a factor. At 41, he can naturally be closer to the players which the team has lacked since Jose left. Being close to the El Capitano would also help transmit harmony among the group. Being a Brazilian icon would also command his take on the teams counterparts in Lucio, Motta, J.Cesar, Maicon, Mancini (a far fetched revival?) and the young Coutinho (if he stays this term).

Objectives:
Although he is given a team that is in contention for 3 trophies this season, his main target could be the CL (just 7 games away and Moratti's dream to emulate his father's success of back to back European cups ) and the league title race. He is young, hungry and is given a clean slate to express his thoughts of his brand and style of play.

How can the club help him?
Well, it is already clear that management are trying to secure players in this upcoming transfer window to strengthen the squad. Be it past targets or newly agreed upon ones, I am sure that Leo's thoughts were heard. Something he lacked at his previous job.
So in other words, is the club ready to work with him in that department?

With half a season left and everything to play for, I hope we don't over analyze every single decision and substitution. I also wish that everyone just pulls together and give it one last push and then sit down at the end of the season to evaluate.

Honestly, with the club being at this low point and failing to perform even at a mediocre level......Things can hopefully only get better.

All the best! and Forza Inter!
BRAVO! Amazing post :thumbsup::star:

Fact accepted but every great coach would have started somewhere. Its no argument to downplay somebody.
