Just few months ago we were shitting on Cancelo. Now we are sucking his dick hoping we can reddem him in summer. Lol. Inter fans are suffering of bipolar.

I feel sorry for him already. The Ranocchia-trap.

He's screwed with so called fans. The rest of us... Fine, a backup.

Inter will not keep Lisandro Lopez

The future of Lisandro Lopez is very likely to be far away from Inter. The Argentinian defender, arrived on loan last January from Benfica, will not be redeemed by the Nerazzurri for a figure of around 9-10 million euros. Too high of an asking price for someone that arrived four months ago just to plug the gap due to the injury of Zinho Vanheusden. The 28 year-old however, claimed by A Bola, is unlikely to return to Benfica and will be looking for a new club this summer.

Well it was expected. It was forced transfer because of Spalletti and his constant criticism about lack of defensive options.

I mean, we basically threw away a victory because we played Santon at CB out of desperation...

Spalo was right though we had two great cb s and then rano and a primavera kid thats just not enough for a team aiming for cl!

Cant really say much, with De Vrij coming, i am happy with him along with Miranda, Skriniar and Rannochia [as long as he keeps the mistakes down and is good with being a sub who wont play much], if we decide on playing 3 in the back though we will need another sub CB.

Also i would love to see Skriniar next to Brozo as our starting midfield pair with De Vrij - Miranda as our cbs, which would also mean we need another CB along with Rannochia [that Cb should be an average one happy with a sub role]

Ranocchia has proved serviceable this year and will probably want to leave to a Serie A/EPL club that will play him regularly.

We'll have to go with Miranda, Skriniar, de Vrij, and then find a serviceable veteran like an Andreolli

Yah that sounds like a good plan.

Ranocchia cant seem to find a club that wants him or keeps him after the loan, also he is getting paid well here so he may stay until his contract runs out in 2019.

Or Give Bastoni a chance more often...I know he is a kid but...this is how talented kids should grow... coaches giving them chances...but in Italy this is the opposite and then no WC because the quality of younger players is dropping...no new Maldini,Totti,Vieri, Del Piero...

I think the issue is the 4th CB will never play, so talented youngsters should go to teams on loan to start and then come back to start for Inter if they are good enough.

JJM makes a good point; based on how little Bastoni has played this season for Atalanta, it may be wise to bring him in. Not sure if that will change when Caldara leaves though.

We'll remember him stomped by Masina, while defending a 2-1 lead against Bologna despite a few incomprehensions with his teammates.

And most of all we'll remember him perfectly sober, while eating asado at breakfast "the day after" (Lazio-Inter 2-3), with his captain.
Still better than mixing tuna fish and ice-cream, like our Colombian legend Nelson "Tyson" Rivas used to do.

Thank you for everything, Lisandro Lopez.

it depends on whether spalletti is thinking about going to a 3 men defense (which would make some sense with skriniar, miranda, and devrij).
in that case ranocchia is essential as a backup.

even with the regular defense, considering UCL next year, skriniar, de vrij, miranda, ranocchia, vendheusen and possibly bastoni is a good mix of CB.

i would only sell ranocchia if we get a great offer and/or if we are tight for cash and that would help. otherwise keep him.

Unfortunately the reference doesn't involve a specific anecdote.

When Inter bought Nelson Rivas, media and newspapers like La Gazzetta dello Sport focused on his nickname (he was supposed to be a "compact, tough, fast, powerful" defender), but also on his funny culinary tastes. Easy headlines.

And it wasn't an urban legend, because I think he admitted it himself in an interview... but I can't recall exactly.

This was his best season at Inter, he'll be sorely missed.
