well the midfield make up could be really interesting.

I see Valero-Gagliardini as one role really, we've been very unlucky with injuries to Sensi/Vecino leaving to actually quit a big gap in midfield in many ways.

If you were to consolidate and sell Valero-Gags, and sell Vecino and JM, bring in Tonali, then we'd have

Barella, Tonali, Sensi, Eriksen, Brozovic across 3 midfield roles. You need at least one more player there, really - so it's either Agoume or another midfielder. Probably, to be honest, makes more sense to keep Vecino if he's ok with a rotational role.

I like how he is on the ball, very composed.

Even if he's been forced to by injuries, Conte has done well to integrate him quickly into rotations, and Agoume has also done well to grab the opportunity so far. He'll probably see more game time against SPAL, Torino and Genoa.

For me it would make more sense to keep Agoume and start him in every Coppa Italia match and use as a rotation player like yesterday. This kid got potential and with the 5 midfielders you mention we got everything covered.

I'd rather lose Vecino if we get an acceptable offer. His contract runs till 2022 so this is the only summer we can get good money for him or we have to renew his contract. And I can't imagine him accepting a role as 6th sub especially when there is a Copa America next summer. And then there is also the rumour which keep coming back about Vidal, knowing Conte I fear Vidal will come this summer and that would mean we should loan Agoume to a Serie A club.

I might suggest Aguome get loaned irrespective of that. I hate having players that young sitting on the bench more than playing on the field.

Give him a start against SPAL. He can't be any worst than some of the midfielders we've started!

Surprised we haven’t seen him in the last few matches actually. He looked good in recent cameos

Agoume needs to play more. No option means we like him, I guess.

That's really good news. He wasted a year here; at least we prevented wasting another year.

Training with Conte and learning from the first team isn't a waste.

Talking like we have midfielders of CL calibre. He learned alot from Gagli, Vecino and Valero.

He’s definitely more physically ready for Serie A then Esposito. No idea what Spezia’s midfield situation is like but hopefully he plays.

Yeah Agoume is ahead of the curve for sure. He needs more tactical "training" by playing real games. I think he's gonna be ready in a 1-2 years.

The bookmakers odds are just in, let’s see what they have to say.

501.00 - Agoume has a fantastic breakout season, cementing himself as an undisputed starter in Spezia’s midfield as he leads the team, not only to safety, but to an unprecedented and historic Europa League spot. Agoume receives a hero’s send-off as he returns to Inter a well-developed player, ready to compete for a starting sport or at least, go on loan to a more competitive side, with half of Europe vying for his signature.

76.00 - Overall positive season where after a period of settling in, Agoume eventually features in regular rotation in the first team. At seasons end, Spezia barely avoid relegation and make an offer to extend his loan another year.

9.00 - Relatively useless loan spell, features as a late sub in most matches, starts a handful. Generally unconvincing, largely in part to his sporadic momentum.

1.004 - Spezia get caught up in a relegation battle from day 1, getting trashed game after game, sacking multiple coaches who all prefer to rely on the “experience” and “consistency” of older options such as Behrami and Montolivo in their desperate fight to avoid the drop. Agoume returns to Inter having featured in 65 minutes across the entire season.

Spezia is closing deal with Milan to loan Pobega as well, so they will have two youngsters in the center of their midfield. Not sure what formation they use, but I hope Agoume will play a lot. With more experience and better physicality he could become really good defensive midfielder.
