No we didnt need one. You cant think before that those 3 will be injured........when they wont be injured, you would have to set Stankovic subtitute? You cant make that........its just a problem that couldnt be solved before. We never could have thought this would happend.

Van der Vaart really wont come to Inter, i think when he leave it will be Valencia, since his friend Koeman is the new trainer.

Ballack also wont join Inter to solve our problems for a few matches.....he will just stay at Chelsea.

Its so easy to call these big names and always ask Moratti to buy new players. Do you want a squad of 30 players? If everybody is fit the players will not be happy anymore because they can never play.
They must join Adriano near the pitch, do you want that? You want 12 mitfielders? We have enough and enough is enough.
These problems will be solved soon. Maybe Stankovic will be fit soon, maybe Bolzoni can be called up, maybe Solari can show his great class, maybe we can put Suazo on Figo his place, lets try every crazy position instead of always buy new players.

Bloody hell, why cant our injuries/disqualifications be spread out across the team more!? First all our defenders were unable to play CL, now we've lost three of our top 4 midfielders. If one of our strikers got injured, we wouldnt be having all these drama with Adri etc

Buying a player in January isnt really an option as no player who is upto the level we require will be allowed to leave, but we could go for a loan deal for someone. The other option is to play the diamond (Cambi/Vieira/Dacourt at DM, J.Zanetti, Jiminez, Stankovic at RM, Stankovic, Solari, Maxwell, Cesar at LM and Jiminez, Cesar, Stankovic or Solari playing at AMC), or play with two holding midfielders and two wingers. We do have reasonable depth to get us through for now, but hopefully by the time the knockout stages of the CL start most of the players are back.

Its a shame we lost Figo, hes's definately out best winger, but I think Capitano can step up. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Jiminez can play on the wing too. Personally, I think the best way for us to play would be to switch to a 433 with Zanetti, Cambiasso and Stankovic in the midfield, and Jiminez playing deep to be the link between midfield and strikers. Takes some creative pressure off Ibra, and no one is really being played out of position.

i stick with jimenez and solari. stan just out for a few weeks give jimenez and solari more chances and for our youngster too. unless we are in real crisis, we should buy new midfielders. but from the pst it shows that our player confidence is high when we didn't bought anyone during january.

Anyway, this team and the injuries we're racking up are entering into the realm of "What the flying **** is going on?" We all knew Vieira was a useless old fart but the injuries to Deki and Figo really hurt.... well, mostly Figo. We're now discussing the possibility of Solari and Jimenez starting... dear God, help us in our time of need.

On a related note, I'd like to stick a toothpick in Nedved's eye. Over and over again.

if you look at the team that would be around solari or jiminez, they are no worse then the other teams, (Fiorentina, Lazio, Samp., napoli) i mean yea compared to some players, but they are not bad looking at the position we are in and the amount of injuries. If them two dont work out, suazo in attacking mid, or even ibra, it's worth the risk, but mancini better find something.

I would rather put Ibra in attacking mid linking midfield and strikers than putting Suazo there. But the problem is Ibra tend to dribble too much these days, doesnt fit the AMC role. I believe he can do it tho, just need to have more accurate passing
