Hopefully, ZZang is right about this one. I prefer to keep every un-touched as our harmony is excellent now. Letting Figo go would maybe trigger some of you to say that this would improve harmony within Inter even more. I don't doubt it could improve it, but my concern is Figo's replacement. We can't lose Figo without replacing him. But the fact is that getting a squad player to fill in Figo's position for a reasonable price, could prove very difficult. I say difficult because I would hope for a long-term purchase, and not a part-time option that will cause us financial losses on a whole.

We never know what the likelyhood of him leaving and I don't think Figo is willing to make sacrifices for the team so he may be able to leave us if his contract has a clause that may allow him to leave if not played enough. It is a possibility.

there is actually more to that story, in the end, if he didn't move to Madrid he would've been sued for millions, but he was the one who got himself in that mess.

doubt it's true, if so Inter definetely has a backup plan because he would've told them weeks ago about this.

Figo will play for six months for $8 million, said a club official who spoke on condition of anonymity because the information should be released by the club's head Mansour al-Balawi.


The 34-year-old Figo has been with Inter Milan since 2005. Before then, he'd played for Sporting Lisbon, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.

He retired from internationals after the World Cup third-place playoff against Germany in July in which he earned a record 127th cap for Portugal.

Figo is expected to stay for a few days in Dubai before arriving in Jiddah on Jan. 5, the official said.

Al Ittihad won the Asian Champions League in 2004 and 2005, and was knocked out in the quarterfinals this year.
