Honestly, I don't think podolski will succeed here playing as winger, even arsene wenger complained that he is too lazy playing as a winger and he doesn't help the fullbacks, aside from that, I don't think he has the neccessary attributes to play as winger, am talking of crossing and dribbling, podolski can't dribble well in order to create opportunities likewise crossing. To me, podolski is a CF/SS not a winger. We signed the right player for the wrong position.

But i remember that Podolski has always played as left winger in germany and also in Bayern and Arsernal if i'm not wrong...

He has different skills than wingers like robben, ribery, shaqiri etc... and this is why we are looking for this kind of player to have a complete set of strikers...

First time poster here...

When Poldi first joined Arsenal, I told the fans that Poldi needed trust from the manager to perform. Double digit in scoring and assist in his first season (not even full) with Arsenal and not shabby at all.
Unfortunately Wenger did not trust Poldi anymore and that's where the problem started.

He is not a player that will run 90 minutes up and down on the flanks, and he may not even like to press, because he saves all his energy and effort to attack.

Still, most importantly, if Poldi can get Mancini's trust and confidence, like Balo, he will be a very good player for Inter.

Because of Poldi, now I am a follower of Inter, but still an Arsenal fan.
