You see, santon atm can be starter in weaker teams, not at Inter.. It is not babysitting. He is more then good enouh to be rotated, but constant starter, no. Just see it like this. We would have good LB and good RB. There is no way both full backs will be playing all the time, so having Santon as back up for both flanks will give him enough playng time to grow as a player.

While imho having him as a first team choise, is bad for Inter. His youth makes him inconsistent, too prone to mistakes, and that can cost us points. Do you want him to learn at the cost of our scudetto/cl? I don't think so...

Plus, losing maicon and not buying replacement.. what if sonton is injured? Ok, Zanetti will play as RB.. Who will play as LB then? Knowing chivu is a CB according to me, and he is injury prone as well...

So i stay up to my oppinion, If maicon leaves, buying full back is a MUST...

Inter's target every season is to win the trophy as much as possible in all competition.

Not developing youngsters, supplying players for NT or build a future squad because inter want to win CL again this year, not 3 or 4 years later.

to do that, inter need the best player at their peak in every position. Why do you think Mourinho still want Milito and Maicon while he already has Higuain and Ramos who is much younger than them ?

45-50 mil is asking quite a bit for a soon-to-be 29 year old RB. Don't get me wrong, I love him and don't wanna see him leave at all but I doubt Perez would pay that much. I could realistically seeing him being sold for 35mil if he really wants to leave.
