Still, "Agreement reached" is the wrong title in my opinion. Cuz then it would mean City have reached an agreement negotiating with Inter, which isn't the case at all here!

It's about City agreeing on personal terms with Maicon, which still doesn't mean shit. It is mentioned in the same article that they wanna pay something like 4,5 million for him which is an insult & I don't see us agreeing to that figure at all.

I'd rather keep him & give him an extension next year with lower wages. He isn't worse than fucking Chivu after all. We gave him a contract & I'm really excited to see how many games he'll get to play this season.

Maicon though, a whole different class of player. Please stay Maic.

After watching the Pescara match, I want this guy to stay. Sneijder and Cassano (presumably our first choices to accompany Milito), likes to hog the left side and Capitano is just too to I'd as an RB. Jonathan never impresses me so right now, Maicon looks like the only solution.

This sale is purely economical one. Maicon is interested perhaps in under 10 matches in a season. 6-7m€ is better than 10 matches of good Maicon.

I agree with this, he doesn't look motivated anymore and probably wants to leave. If he stays he should be in the bench a couple of games just to make him clear to make some effort. But honestly we have a lot of players already, JZ, Naga and Jonathan in the right, Pereira, Naga, JZ, Chivu, Juan in the left. That's too much and is probably best for him to find another team.

I don't know if Guidetti could even pass a medical. He had some kind of mystery illness that came close to ending his career. Very unlucky. I just saw him on our website video and he looks nowhere near football shape.



If Maicon joins I will be so happy. Maybe he needs a new challenge.
