Well, I'd approve Guidetti, if he can recover quickly. The guy has tons of potential. Surely more better then Castaignos.

I saw that video with him on the push bike and you could see in his face he put on some weight.

I think we should see Maicon 100%. But if he stays I wont lose sleep over it. The key to getting the most out of him is REST. He should only play 1 game a week tops.

When Maicon doesn't leave, does this mean Zanetti will play in the midfield (LB will be Pereira)???

Probably, but i dont think it's good idea. One of the reasons i want Maicon out.

1. Zanetti as full back >>> Zanetti as midfielder
2. Playing two offensive full backs is baaaad idea. No matter how good the covering is.
3. Maicon won't accept to be rotational player.

I'm shooting myself in the nutsack if I have to see Zanetti in the midfield again. Maicon needs to be sold so we don't see it. Get it done Branca.

I honestly don't think Pereira would go into first XI very easily since he just came from a different league. So, if Maicon stays, I think Zanetti would be on the left with Maicon on the right OR Zanetti on the right with Pereira/Nagatomo on the left. I don't think Maicon will be first choice in front of JZ for RB tbh.

We didn't buy Pereira to sit on the bench.

Of course not and I didn't say we buy him for benchwarmer, but Pereira will need time to settle with Serie A. Guarin has been here since January yet he still seems not settle with the gameplay of italian teams.

Well, what I mean, we should just introduce him slowly. Don't overexpect him.

My greatest worry with Maicon is if he stays will he play with high intensity and motivation. He had troubles with that last season, he seemed absent and unusually slow quite often tbh like he didn't care. Maybe frequent changes of coaches affected him, but he is professional and this season also will not go without troubles.

Maybe Cassano's and Wes' new found commitment and energy will drive Maicon as well. I really don't want to see him drag on the field, because if he stays it will be for a lower salary.

Why won't anyone buy Maicon? At this point him staying means either he will be on the bench or JZ will be in midfield (or worse yet, on the bench). Please Mancio, just take him.

I love what Maicon has done for the club, but his departure is two years overdue.

if he's cool with being a bench player and his salary is reduced "i'm" fine with that. as long as he isn't completely devoid of determination. i'm not fine with it if it means zanetti will ever play in midfield

but i'm hoping he will be mature and accept it's time for him to step back a bit (for a 39 yr old lol). if he does then our team will actually be stronger than without him. subbing zanetti off for maicon towards the end of games could actually be a very good thing. (or pereira off and zanetti to LB and maicon on to RB)

why does he need to step back when he can still run faster than most players and last longer than anyone in the whole club?

He's almost officially a ManC player. 4 year contract - 4M for us plus bonuses. Sad, I wanted him to stay.

Who the fuck remained from the treble winning team? Milito, Sneijder, JZ, Cambi, Samuel, Chivu, Stankovic...

We've lost Eto'o, Lucio, Motta, Maicon, Julione, Pandev, Balotelli...

Oops its done. 4million to Inter apparently.

Anyways, Thank you Maicon. You made watching derbies with Milan and Jube special. You made us smile, cry tears of happiness, shared with us your craziness for PazzaInter. My grand children will hear about you, because as an Interista, you have a special place in my heart. Stay there, stay crazy and I hope you find the motivation to be the best Brazilian RB I've seen, all over again.
