We should not have sold Castaignos.
We should have got a fee for JC.
We should have got more for Maicon.
We didn't manage to get rid of Chivu or Stankovic (a smaller issue, as Chivu reduced his wage, and Stankovic has been effectively replaced w/ the arrivals of Guarin and Gargano)
Whats the lesson to be learnt here? If you are forced into doing transfer business the market will try to screw you. Thats why its better to rebuild gradually (over the last two years *cough) than wait until the wheels fall off the bus, and then rebuild all at once.
