I'm pretty sure he won a coppa or two with roma
Also, I don't understand this logic. Compared to us, they usually had a lot less money, so that seems like a lame way to laugh at somebody for being in a club that isnt even top3 in the league (ovetall) for not winning anything.
What I find hilarious is the love Zidane gets and the hate Totti gets. And this is why there's no logic in statements such as "he hasn't won shit". People are praising players who haven't won shit either. Ronaldo is also another one. All it takes to be viewed as the great player you are in this new world is probably to score 2 goals in a World Cup final. Nothing else matters probably. If Ronaldo didn't win the 2002 World Cup, people would be shitting on his career as well.
As for the comparison, Zidane has:
2 Serie A (1 stolen from Parma - Zidane scored an own goal in that crucial game btw* -, the other from Inter)
1 La Liga
1 Champions League
1 World Cup
1 Euro
(I'm not counting mickey mouse tournaments or the two Intertoto shit that Zidane has which had like 6 teams "winning" their ticket to the Uefa Cup's early round and got a stupid medal for it)
and Totti has:
1 Serie A
2 Coppa Italia
1 World Cup
Both aren't really standing out.
The big difference here is that Totti never played for a cheating club to get him more league wins and never played for a team like Real Madrid that had 6+ world class players. In fact, comparing what they had around them, Zidane's career is underwhelming and Totti's is pretty much as expected, but obviously an underachiever for his talent.
That's quite poor for the hype Zidane gets. The Euro was lucky as fuck and Totti was the best player in the tournament and Italy definitely was the better team of that final. He also was the man of the match in that final, something remarkable for a losing team. (Holland overall deserved to win it if we wanna go there). And they have 1 World Cup each and Zizou was pretty much banned from most of the tournament and only showed up in the final.
Also, in an individual battle, Totti has been awarded the Guerin d'Oro in 1998, when Zidane was at his best (2nd in Ballon d'Or in 1997 and won it in 1998) and Totti wasn't even in his prime, being only 22. For those who do not know what this award is, let me just verify that its take is rather solid and it's not just some random award. It's the equivalent of the Ballon d'Or that the French gave out but only for players who played in Italy. That's the only level playing field they ever had in terms of individual awards. Also, ESM team of the year, Zidane has 4 entries against Totti's 3, but this is also a Pan-European media award, so popularity plays a role.
As for me, I think they're on par, with Zidane being slightly greater. But circumstances and hype have created a huge gap between them in the eyes of the football world. Had Totti joined Real Madrid when they went calling, once every summer, he probably would have overshadowed Zidane as he's a more marketable face and character.
Off topic yet again, but some things have to be said all the time, because these kids will be convinced that players like Mesut freaking Ozil is a better player than Totti and others.

Here's that scandalous draw that favoured Juventus.
Parma would have closed in by 3 points, but even before that, Juventus were getting calls their way whilst Parma and Inter were penalized for fun.
Juventus went on to drop points vs Atalanta in the next game so the gap would have gone to 1 if it went like that after a Parma win and then they dropped points against Lazio who were desperate to go to Europe and managed to because Sampdoria didn't win. And that's just the ending of the season, let's not go to how it began..
