Please, Call Mourinho and just ask who we need to replace Leonardo.

He would say Villas Boas, nd we would be over the moon if we can get that man.

I won't tell Moratti what to do, I will be tolerant to whatever he decides this summer,

but no half-ass solutions this time. Do it properly.

Should never had hired Leonardo in the 1st place. If he wasn't good enough for Milan, what made him think he would be good enough for Inter. Last season he showed that he is tactically clueless like going to old trafford and playing 3 lazy strikers when your trailing from the 1st leg. A coach cannot suddenly improve in less than a year to be able to replace Mourinho.

Moratti should have went for Dunga or Spalletti. Even Rijkaard would have been a decent choice.

I don't unless he's about to return for 4-6 years.

last week everyone was lining up to suck leo's dick, 2 losses later and now we shouldn't have signed him in the first place? :palm:

forget the fact that he was the only coach available, the run inter had before the milan game was record breaking, if i had to choose a new coach in december knowing that this is how leo would do i would get him in a heartbeat

This was before the game. He basically confirms Leonardo.

http://www.fcinternews.it/?action=read&idnotizia=43534

On the other hand this is after the game tonight where he was one of the last people to leave the stadium with Leo. Asked by the journalists about the conversation with Leonardo, he said that it was a simple talk with Leo. Asked about what bothered him the most...he said that players were tired.

I guess he is realising that the team is getting old and cannot compete like last year or simple put on highest level in Europe.

Thank you for the clarification ma man. Seems I fell for the stupid trick douche bag YouTube users tend to use, renaming their videos to match a recent event in order to get more clicks.

About the players being tired I really do think it's a major factor. Guess alone in April it's 8 matches or something.

You're welcome. Yes, there are a lot of games and I am sure it is not easy but, should not be an excuse for this pathetic performance. They get paid very well to win games...and if they can't provide then a) don't ask for more money b) be clear that this game is being a burden and let others take your place.

One thing Massimo should do, is fine every player barring the subs their week's wages. They simply did not earn their wages this week. Sad but true.

Give the money to the fans, tickets to two games for as many fans as the deducted wages will pay. Then rebuild properly in the summer. Yes, there is a place for legends of the past. Its just not in the Starting XI.

Sorry, Zanetti, Stankovic, Cordoba, and Chivu! Your efforts over the years can hardly be praised highly enough, but those days are now behind us. Motta, you have serious attitude issues, your fitness is terrible, and you somehow lacked motivation for Inter's two biggest games this season. I seriously think his laziness in defence was only because his fitness is so bad, and he knows he still has to play 8 games or something, this month!

the players are pretty much dead ...maybe its better for us to get out of CL now and save our energy for the coppa and the league...we definitely don't have the squad or depth to compete in 3 competitions this time...the players are dragging their feet right now as it is playing those internationals were bad for us they really could have used the rest :palm:

It's sucha sad story that pride is costing us the whole season and even our dignity. Only if Moratti was going to act more wisely in the summer we were not going to have so many problems that we have now.

The same pride and dignity that you're referring to in your signature?

Fatigue was the issue.

But the fatigue is due to old age, not too many matches, or training too hard.

And also the lack of pace. When you rely on basically 6 players to do the defensive duties, you need atleast two with pace. Again due to old age, if it was the 08/09 Cordoba he could have easily slotted in next to Ranocchia, but as it is, his only weapon in his defensive arsenal has deteriorated. Same for Stankovic, Chivu, Zanetti, and to a lesser extent, Cambiasso. Although Esteban was always pretty slow, he always had a high work rate and endless stamina.

This is gonna be a very busy summer for Moratti and Co. Unlike last summer, decisions have to be made regarding the future of this club. Several players are now well into their 30's and declining at a rapid rate and are now longer able to perform at a high level. I wouldn't be surprised if we have one of the oldest squads in Europe. I'll thank all of the players from the bottom of my heart (yes even Chivu and Pandev) if they're not at Inter next season, but it's time to turn the page to the next generation.

The sun rises and the sun sets. The wind blows to the south and then comes back to the north again. Football is just like life and is a perpetual cycle of motions. We have come to an end of a wonderful cycle with beautiful and joyful memories. Sad as it may sound, these are the kind of sad moments for all of us to witness and experience when a cycle ends.

Now it is up to the management to act accordingly and I as an Inter fan, will wait patiently for the next cycle to start.

Moratti: "A moment that can be overcome"

President Moratti, now everything seems at risk...

"What happened was something unexpected, a lesson. But in a word, the players are still who they are and so we're going to face this situation just the same. Quite often the things that seem impossible become easier, so we'll see if we know how to do what is necessary to turn this into something positive. It is not easy, but I believe that everything mainly came down to fatigue. And if that's the case then we have to get ourselves back on track, and with the players we have at our disposal."

The formation in midfield was heavily criticised, but in reality it was the defensive end that showed the breakdown. Was it all related to fatigue?

"The whole team participates in the defence. It seemed to me that there was a bit less participation, but not for lack of will. Instead it came down to a lack of strength to some degree."

After the game you spoke with Leonardo until late. What was said?

"Actually, I met with him late. That's why we finished so late. We were up talking. I can say that he is an intelligent person who is doing a job that certainly isn't easy, and he makes some intelligent reasoning. Football is connected to many things like luck and timing, and this is a moment that can be overcome. We are all very united. Everyone together. This is not a situation that has us scared."

When Leonardo was chosen as a coach, many people were thinking of a complete figure. Is there still a possibility of this scenario that would see Leonardo behind a desk? Or right now is he still seen as the coach for the future?

"The conversation between us got started in order to discuss the job he is doing now, then of course it will expand due to his capacities. But now we're doing what needs to be done from the bench. Therefore he knows perfectly well that it's one of his responsibilities and we all know that we need to count on this."

Can you reveal what was said between you both last night?

"Nothing mysterious. It was all natural after such an event."

Well then they are stupid and lets take advantage. MM can surely make him an offer that he cant refuse. If Real decide to let him go, then for me, Inter would be the favorites to get him. IMO he'll stay on at Real.

Who will he coach in EPL? Man United, SAF said he wont leave this summer. Chelsea, well they really didnt end on good terms and the philosophy differs as Mou doesnt want to sign the players the owner wants to. Man City? Yes, but that would mean he would cross the Man United support and reduce the chances of him replacing SAF in the future, the hatred between the 2 sets of supporters is rising and you can witness it yourself next week when the FA Cup semi final happens. Arsenal? Liverpool? with the history between them, EPL doesnt look good for Mou. Nor does Germany as the big clubs are fine there and Bayern also have a different philosophy of football and he's already in Spain.
