thanks for the insight. Can't wait to see more of him. Not expecting much at all but this is the sort of player I've nagging about since forever.

Tell me what do you think of Badelj? How do you rate him? Inter-worthy?

If Kuzmanović is Inter-worthy, Badelj should be too.

Badelj is not top class, but he is quality CM. He was always considered great talent, some time for a year he didnt show that on a pitch. But In last 7-8 months he starded to improve and is sold to HSV for 4,5mil. Then I saw some his games there and was pleasently suprised. He got some really good moves and has good ratings after matches. I think Bundesliga is best for him, I am not sure how would he do in serie A. Consider he is only 23 years old. I would say he is Inter-worthy, I dont think buying him would been a mistake. He was also from Dinamo Zagreb, and despite the not so good league Dinamo has one of better football academies in Europe, I would say top20, and its speciality is producing quality mildfielders. ( And unfortunately, seling them young)

Im not gonna vote quite yet, i want at least to see him play for once. Until yesterday i was unaware of his existence. Not trying to bash him or anything, cos he clearly is a good player (well, i've been reading just super good things about him). Also i dont think that by giving him kinda big salary for Inter standards is a pressure or even by giving him the #10, real pressure would be to bench him and play for 5 to 10 minutes every game and expect miracles. As long as they keep playing him, im fine with that.

Btw, dude used to go to training with bus, not with a car in Croatia, he is humble as fuck.

Or because he couldnt get driving license at that age

Here's some interesting info regarding Kovacic, born in 1994:

When milan were first relegated to serie B in 1980, he was minus 14 years old.
During their second relegation in serie B in 1982, he was minus 12 years old.

I hope this is helpful.

Re: Im not gonna vote quite yet, i want at least to see him play for once.

same here i think we all should think before voting give him a couple matches, and then vote it's crazy to vote without seeing if he has potential to be a star or not, and as for the money if they are giving him so much at this age, it's crazy.

It is interesting how Croatians on this forum are cautiously optimistic about this signing.

If this kid was Colombian certain users would be fapping all over the place.

I don't want to pile too much exception on the kid, but this is the first bit of good news for a while anyway.

Zanetti: Yes, he shouldn't play he's absolutely terrible. Oh wait he's fucking Zanetti.
Cambiasso: Together with Zanetti he was our best player against Toro.
Samuel: Our best defender this season.
Cassano: Yes, our only creative forward should be on the bench.
Rocchi: When Strama had a choice he played Livaja ahead of him and he's here for just 6 months.

We've signed 3 young players and a reserve goal keeper I think that's good for our new direction.

you can look at it anyway you like, except this kid the market was a complete failure.

even though a great talent, hell most likely need time to adjust. we very much face the risk of being out of CL and losing out on tens of millions of dollars.

Kuzmanovic and Schelotto are not difference makers. I hope they prove me wrong. dont even get me started on rocchi.

Hi everybody

I'm just here to wish Mateo all the best in Milan and to congratulate the Inter fans that they get such a brilliant player. Think it's a shame that he went away so early from Zagreb, but I am confident that the new number 10 will have success in Milan

You dont buy difference makers in January, January transfer window is supposed to fix some things, patch things up, not change an entire team.

Imo this was a decent market... Got what Strama wanted and what was missing : a complete midfielder (Kuzma), right winger (Schelotto), creative player (Kova), vicevice-Milito (Rocchi).

Not bad in my opinion...
