I do agree with what you say but I don't think Bayern is an example of cutting down on costs.
Recently Bild posted how much each Bayern player is earning a year and I was shocked.

Toni Kroos, a youth product, earns 4.5MM euros which is almost as much as Milito, our highest paid player, earns.
Thomas Muller, another youth product, earns 8MM euros.

Schweinsteiger and Lahm make 10MM euros each. I don't recall them being from their youth system but DAMN that's a hefty budget!!!

According to German journalist it's pre tax wages, so Kroos earns half as much as Milito and Schweinsteiger earns as much as Milito.

There's a rumor that Kova spat on Mazzarri's face after a dispute.

Nah, actually it was a dream I had...:troll:

And actually it was me in the dream not kova :yao:

Honestly you guys worship this kid or something. Yeah he's good... yes he's 19.. and yes I think mazzaris a prick. But stop acting like hes the next xavi or iniesta. he isn't that talented, period. His passes are misweighed, he has zero tactical sense, zero defensive ability, is weak physically, and has no clue how to play higher up the pitch.

You know who he reminds me of? Isco. Both overhyped, both overrated because they can do a few more moves and have exceptional acceleration with the ball.

Every day theres a new excuse for him. "oh hes playing as a false 9 deep lying 10" kinda shit, or "bro, he needs to play deep to play good".

He might not be next Xavi or Iniesta, but he's definitely the most talented in our squad.

And because we have spent so much money on him, it is only ideal that we use him and keep his value up.

the f... are you talking about? modric is at the moment the best midfielder in the world, better than both xavi and iniesta, and kovacic is way more talented than any of them. he just plays with bad players like beldofil, taider... there is no talented 1994 player in the world like kovacic. his position should determin his coach, but he can play wherever he want, but what is point when he has bad teammates. the truth is, inter is one of the worst transfers he could actually make at this young age. neymar, gotze... players who aren't anything more talented than kovacic made the best possible options. they have joined clubs which are attacking for whole game, while Kovacic joined a team, which doesn't know what to do ATM. talking how they want to make younger inter, while they either sell youngsters or bench them so milito or palacio can get chance.

Right.. its never kovacics fault..

and hold on a sec buddy

Remind me, what world class players was neymar surrounded by in santos? neymar and gotze eat kova for breakfast. theyr'e on another level because they have more to their game then just skills and runs

modric is a beast athletically. he works his socks off defensively. his passes are well timed and placed. he lingers on the ball but only because he looks to make more plays in the final third. and as a player overall hes not comparable to kova.. hes way better

sorry, but both of them are two years older than kovacic, and both of them were in great teams considering league they have played for with great players. look at kovacic in dinamo zagreb, he was beating 3-4 players like they didn't exist (he has even done that on national level and occasionally in italian league). not even modric done that in that league. kova is from dinamo zagreb's school, which is actually the best in the world at this moment (recently beaten likes of bayern, barcelona, dortmund, ajax and have won manchester united tournament in which all football youths around the world attented), and one of the best ones overall. his talent shouldn't even questioned, but yes I agree he has minuses in his game, but with time he will work on them. dude, he is only 19 years old. when you have talent like kovacic has, only he needs is time to improve himself and he will explode. i think expectations on him are huge. he is world class potential, you like it or not, and he will be one very soon, the question is when exactly. when your coach expects from you to be main player against juventus, you know what kind of talent he has, he only needs to demonstrate it.

He's good for a 19 year old, really good. But that's it for now. We'll live and see whether he turns out spectacular or remains somewhat meh for the next year or two, which I sincerely doubt but still. Similarly to Alvarez everyone would step their game up if they're trusted with a handful of matches but labeling Kovacic as a wunderkind and expecting him to score and assist at will isn't making him any favors right now. He needs humility and hard work and things will get better for him, the thing I'm a bit frustrated is that he looks kinda distracted on the pitch lately. I really hope all the pressure, especially from the coach hasn't got to him that much and he'll take his future chances, just like Icardi does.

Kovacic is like Icardi. We all know he's better than the old washed up players Mazzari benches him for, but the difference is that with Icardi it's

easy to see his contributions. A goal is a goal. But with a midfielder it's more complicated, and you can't expect on Mazzari to critically analyze

a player's abilities. It's throw him on the field. If we don't get a win you bench him. If we get a win, you still bench him.

When he recovers, I'd give him bits of second halves to play instead of Kuzmanović. In this Inter he can only play there IMO. He will never be LCM or RCM while Guarin, Taider, Alvarez and Hernanes occupy those places.

Yeah, Mazzari is a blind idiot who ignores the obvious. If he has a great game it'll be noticed. Last time I was drooling over Kova was last year and that comes to show he's not been using his few chances to impress properly. If I'm not mistaken Mazzari himself was advertising him as one of his most valuable assets and was pretty excited to have him in the squad.

Why are we all in love with Kova? Cause he has amazing dribbling skills and maneuverability. That's all. His shot is average, his passing is okay... You get the idea and this is exactly the reason why a coach would neglect all of this and insist on playing Kuzmanovic. I'm just speculating here but maybe if we subtract all the flashy stuff from the game it's possible that the Serb is in a way more reliable that Kovacic, .

So he didn't play AGAIN? :palm: Guy must be thinking about that Manchester City/ Real Madrid money he could have gotten if he went there instead of us

Yeah considering the huge gap Kuzmanovic and his midfield companions left for Cuadrado to score his goal, the Serie A experience really makes the difference here.
