Since when is 25 "very young" for a defender helal? :wth:

Nico's time is now and I hope he impresses at the World Cup, so he'll convice that 'tard Mancini to start using him in his actual position next season. I don't know if he should replace Cordoba just yet, but I do know he should definitely be the 3rd CD.

I agree in everything, even though I hate to admit it Cordoba has had a very bad season, and if he doesnt improve we have to use Burdisso instead, but the problem is just that it seems like Mancini has fallen in love with him. He was the one he used the most last season. so something drastically have to happen if that is going to change.

And loaning Burdisso out ain't the right solution either, he is 25 years old and it would be a huge gamble, to do such thing since it might resolve in him not wanting to come back. it is better to promote him as our 3'rd choice and see if COrdoba improves if not then he should be our starter. Matrix is almost 33and will only go downhill from now, and we should try to sell him while there still are some potential buyers for him. And then promote Andreolli as our 4'th choice, I know he is young, but the 4'th defender rarely gets playing time so it's not a big problem.

Why a new defender? Why selling Materazzi?

Mihajlovic won't be here next season, so that should give Burdisso more time to play as CD.

Four defenders, Samuel, Matrix, Ivan, Burdisso. Two defenders play with their right foot, two play with the left. We have the experienced ( matrix ), the youth ( nico ), and the starters ( ivan and samuel ). We have a tall strong defender that is one of the best in man marking, the speedy ( ivan ) and a natural world-class defender in samuel.

What else do you need? :|

One just like you said but wouldn't fuck any offender and getting unnecessary yellows and reds plus his "lovely" slips that he does from time to time.
Matrix is a good defender no doubt, but his overreactions are just too much, if he stops playing violently then OK, but like this he is a menace to them and us.

The reason to why that materazzi may be sold is that because he has alot of offers right now and inter directors may accept one of them.

Llaneza one of the managers of Villarreal is in Milan since yestarday to finish the deal with Marco Materazzi.
I will like him to stay, but be realistic, with cordoba, samuel and burdisso i don't think he want to be the fourth choice for CB.

translated from marca. I'm not sure but I guess it's says we are canceling his contrcat( by paying him money) and he will go free to Villareal.

The next Monday can be the key day for the draftee of Materazzi Frame by the Villarreal. The representative of the Italian international defense has predicted to meet with the chief of a main directorate of the Inter of Milan to negotiate the rescission of the contract of his player and to obtain, that form, the freedom letter that allows him to dress yellow during next the two seasons. The Villarreal, that already has reached an agreement with the player in the economic subject and the duration of the contract, is to the delay of which the agent of Materazzi agrees to with the Inter the settlement, since the Italian organization owes around two million and means to him of euros and the negotiation is in the corresponding strip and relaxes between the parts. While the Inter of Milan tries to grant the freedom to him in contraprestación to an important part of which it owes itself to him, the player tries, as it is logical, to defend his rights and not to lose money in the operation. The Villarreal follows the delay from which international the Italian, that is disputing the World-wide one of Germany with its selection, obtains the freedom, since the yellow club yes is arranged to become position of its high list, but without paying a crossing. From the Submarine he continues himself giving priority to the hiring of fornido the central transalpino, objective number one of the technical secretariat, and he does not exist prewalls of time for the delay, once the practical totality of the group of the next season is already closed. The representative of Materazzi ratified yesterday to the Mediterranean his optimism to reach an agreement with the Inter and its later draftee by the castellonense club. "If everything goes well, the next week Frame will be able to sign with the Villarreal", declared the agent of azzurro. Materazzi can become yellow draftee in the last shortly or, rather, the penultimate one

And why couldn't we sell this player, then? Please tell me, Mr Branca.

If there is one contract I don't mind cancelling, then it's this one!

Branca, please go and work in a pawn shop to learn some selling skills.

As long as Branca gets rid of matrix I don't care how he does it. I would prefer to get someone money but since I know I would spend a dime to buy matrix I don't blame other clubs if they aren't willing to pay to sign him.

1. I dont want him to leave I believe the upside and only upside to Matrix is his toughness and I think that shows and it helps the players when playing against dirty Romanistas and the like. Have someone on the pitch who doesnt give a shit almost every club has one and he is ours.

2. If he does go and its a cancelled contract I really have to question Branca yet again and yet AGAIN call him an idiot

So many teams are interested of his services which means he has been good lately. If we buy him out (yet again), then our transfer gur...guys are really imbesil (that´s hardly a news though)

lol  of cause they would do it, everybody knows that if your are patient enough Inter will either release the player or you can get the player at a spot price.

Don't worry, we have a more intelligent Materazzi in Samuel. In 4 years time, you will see some Materazzi-like stuff by Samuel!

You know, I'd really be furious if I were one of Inter's shareholders and see the company's financial account.

2000 | Di Biagio | From Roma | -15m
2001 | Materazzi | From Perugia | -15m
2002 | Adani | From Fiorentina | -10m
2003 | Di Biagio | To Brescia | -10m
2004 | Adani | To Brescia | -5m
2006 | Materazzi | To Villarreal | -10m

Whether buying or selling, Inter always pay.

Moratti & Provera, I know oil price are sky high but don't lose your mind dudes.
