Juve and Inter drop Darmian

Manchester United are demanding €6m for Matteo Darmian’s six-month loan and €6m option to buy, so Juventus and Inter dropped interest.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio, those were the terms put forward by the Premier League club.

Juventus and Inter have no intention of paying €6m to have Darmian on loan for just six months.

They would also have to pay the full salary during his period with the loan club.

Therefore, it looks as if the Italy international will not be returning to Serie A after all.

Juventus decided to pull of the race for Darmian when Spinazzola refused to go on loan to Bologna (darmian would be sub for spinazzola on position left back). Price of 4mil for loan + 8mil for transfer fee is small and it isn't problem. Problem is good juventus cover in defense positions especially after spinazzola changed his minds about departure on loan.

Inter have reportedly secured a free transfer for Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian next summer.

According to Rai Sport, Inter have already reached agreement to bring in Darmian, whose United contract expires in 2020.

The 29-year-old has continually been linked with moves back to Italy throughout his four seasons at Old Trafford.
