It's time to move on. He's been in steady decline since Conte left and is already 33 years old. Sizeable wage cut or GTFO.

Why are we the only ones that can see it? It is a horrible state of affairs when your club cannot find a replacement for a declining 33 year old that has very little to offer other than simply occupying a space in the squad.

Darmian is a perfect backup player. He can backup multiple positions if absolutely needed (RWB, LWB, at least RCB, maybe even LCB). That's valuable and with the growth decree still applicable, he's a cheap, versatile option. I see no problems keeping him.

Alternative is to let him walk and find a new player, possibly having to pay money for the fee and maybe bigger salary. And with our financial capabilities probably that alternative won't be even better and most probably not as versatile.

Because we're broke, sure. Any reasonable club would move on. He offers nothing on the pitch these days.

I don’t see nothing wrong to offer new contract to Darmian? He is proven Serie A player and I think he has done decent job and is really versatile and gives his best when he is on field. Darmian seems to take good care of his body and at 33 old I think 2 years is good lenght for a new contract.

He offers the experience and reliability. Nothing fancy but beggars can't be choosers etc. etc.

Abysmal at times offensively, did good on his defensive end with an assist from Hakan.

Don’t care about his chances in front of goal. Did his job well. He kept Kvara quiet all game and we won.

He could have been molesting children in front of goal, for all care.

No comment for this guy? He did a great job against Leao, just like he had done against Kvara.
Yep, honestly one of our best signings the last few years. He's been great whenever called upon.

Milan product spending his best years at Inter. Have we taken vengeance for Balotelli? Absolutely! I hope he also clinches a CL trophy with us before his contract ends.
