I agree. I thought Politano did much better in the first few matches of the season, perhaps up to the Lazio match. He had some decent cameos there. After that, his performances were pretty much terrible. There was one match in Serie A when he came on and every decision he made was to go to his left side and he got stopped every time - I can't remember if it was the Parma game, but it was awful.

Right. As I said before, i think he started with enthusiasm, but after few small injuries, being on the bench, even Esposito being preferred on occasions, killed his confidence. Since then, he became shit, even tho imo started pretty well.

It’s like the camera man knew it was the start of the circus from then on because that’s exactly what seeing this guy attempt to play urgent football in a decisive period looked like. The fact that Barca’s 17 year old and looked so much better than Politano wasn’t even surprising just sad.
