Probably there's not enough time to pull off such a big deal at this timeframe. I don't know, I guess that's the reason. Or Icardi doesn't want to commit yet, so Wanda has told everyone they might be open for loan deals at this point.

But like it's obvious, the extension has to be done before the loan.

That's a given. He is either sold or he extends and goes on loan. Or then he sulks in the stands, is called up to a game here and there.

As much as I hate to discuss again about this saga, it's just so irritating that they wait 2-3 days before mercato close to file the lawsuit, and then 1 day before mercato close to say that they suddenly open to go to another club.

The lawsuit seems more like annoyance so that the club willing to let him go because letting him go will also close the lawsuit. 1 day before mercato close obviously would rule out the best deal for the club because of the time.

I hope we let him rot in the stands rather than give him to the club that he wants with a clause that is not in our favour
