I can see how some fans can think like you but I also am of the belief that after all those years 5 or 6 months of BS isnt going to undo all the good he did for us... Still semi hoping for a redemption arc for him even if this is extremely unlikely

Hopefully one day we have more answers on what happened and how it was handled from the inside.

RELAX listen Icardiscores you do realize you posted a picture of 3 fans and made a grand statement that he wont go down as a forum legend.... While this maybe true because a lot of fans on this forum have mixed emotions over him I am sure when time has passed and the dust settles he will be remembered for very good games that he had. Plus playing with some terrible team mates.

Ronaldo is still remembered as a traitor by many fans today for the way he left Inter. The thing is a lot of people fell in love with Ronaldo before followed him at Inter. In Icardi case, most people are already attached to Inter before Icardi joined. I can't imagine people say they become Inter fans because of Icardi.

• He doesn't play in national competitions, which is the most exposure non-Italian fans had to Serie A/Inter
• He's widely disliked by many prominent members of the footballing community (Messi, Maradona, Di Maria)
• He's doesn't have a skillset that is particularly appealing to fans who clamor for "modern football"
• He's not a good player in football video games

It may sound like a silly list, but remember, marketing is about mass-appeal and not catering to wannabe football scouts. No one here loved Ronaldo only because of his goal-scoring. It was his creativity, individuality, and playmaking.
