The problem is he's not just the only idiot. People seem to think that because a player can't dribble past 4 or 5 players then he's one dimensional. Before the start of the season we looked for a striker that can score 15 goals in a league season. Now we have a 21 year old striker, 21, that already has 10 midway through. I wish I could call it a fluke but last season he started from the bench most of the time and he still managed 10 goals in the league. He's obviously improving season after season.
If people claim that Kovacic is untouchable, then so is Icardi. We're lucky to have both of them, and now with shaqiri we could really have a world class forward line soon.
a few pages back I read "We should take the 40m, we can get a decent striker for half that amount and invest the rest on the remainder of the team". They key word here is "decent". Decent is just another word for mediocre. Which is exactly what inter are right now. It seems after a long time even some fans are seeking mediocrity.
