Just few weeks ago we're all angry for Perisic, Nainggolan, even Brozovic. But, they have now tried their best again.

I might miss something but when did Perisic refused to train? Also, why should people hate players who want to leave?

If it was me, I would rather hand in a transfer request and be open that I'm not happy and I want to leave than using other clubs fake interests as a leverage for bargaining higher salary from a club I claim to love so much and I know is not in a good financial state.

He was training by himself isolated after putting in a transfer request, i could go look up the details but can't really do that right now.

But, why are you angry at someone who deserves a pay rise then but does want to stay at the club? If you are underpaid at your job wouldn't you want to earn more? The financial situation of the club isn't his problem, if the club can't afford him call the negotiations off and say they can sell him, dont let it linger for months and then damage your most prized asset.

Elduccio...your reply to n4l, lol, if you think we'd have made it to champions league this season without icardi last season you're in absolute dreamland

For anyone who understands Spanish, here's the full interview Maxi Lopez with Radio La900...

https://radiocut.fm/audiocut/maxi-lopez-en-motivadosam990/

I am neither claiming Maxi is telling the truth nor accusing him of lying, just posting his two cents into this saga:

Maxi Lopez admits Mauro Icardi deserves a better agent than Wanda Nara but claims the Inter striker has a ‘worse attitude’ than his ex-wife.

Wanda was married to Lopez with three children but divorced amidst allegations that she was having an affair with Icardi, who was a then-teammate of his fellow Argentine at Sampdoria.

“I hope Argentina always win,” the 34-year-old told Radio La 990.

“If he plays I’ll still support the national team. I don’t care who their striker is, but Wanda is too chatty for Italy.

“Italian executives are much harder to deal with than Argentine ones. Italy is a different matter.

“I think what’s happening is that the Inter executives have got fed up with her and her way of doing things, plus Icardi isn’t playing at the same level as he did in the past and this situation was created on the back of that.

“Good agents make the difference because they know how to read moments like these. They know when to press, when to speak, when to keep quiet.

“I believe that a player of his quality must be represented by a person who befits his quality.

“Wanda offered to become my agent too but no, I never had her as an agent. I wanted to preserve my family, I wanted harmony and I wanted to separate the two.

“I’ve always tried to keep a low profile for my children. My objective has always been that so my children couldn’t criticise me once they grew up.

“That’s why I’ve preferred to clam up. Sometimes I react but my objective has always been to protect my children. I only reply when they attack me.

“Now I’m not seeing my children. Sometimes I’m not even allowed to talk to them on the phone.

“The last time I saw them was in December. I saw them a few hours in January after I asked Vasco for special dispensation.

“My relationship with Wanda is difficult. There’s no harmony. For many years we only spoke through lawyers because it was so complicated.

“Mauro has the same attitude as her, sometimes even worse. It’s for that reason I decided not to stay in touch with him.

“His behaviour is always the same. I told him he’d understand certain things once he became a father, but he didn’t.

“For example, yesterday was my son’s birthday and they attacked me over the phone. What kind of relationship can you have with people like that?”

He was training by himself but it was not mentioned because he refused to train. It is only logical to let him train separately rather than affecting the team.

I am not angry with Icardi at all. I never say he doesn't deserve the pay rise but it should follow the procedures and not blabbering it out everywhere. Plus, I have said many times, this is not about the contract issue only. There is something bigger problem with Icardi that we dont know.

The club has actually let him find a club but nobody stepped forward to pay 110 millions clause for him. Wasnt it last summer when Wanda was caught out flat for stating there are many clubs lining up for Mauro but no one attempted to buy him for 110 millions.?

I would like to earn more but I would also do it in a professional way. I will sit down and talk. If the club is not interested, I would rather submit a transfer request than using fake other club interests to bargain. Although, if you love the club so much, you can always wait a little longer. When we couldn't afford our treble winner salaries, they were all forced to cut salaries or leave including Zanetti, none of them said anything or made the club in difficult situation. They all agreed to leave and be quite. There is contract negotiation and there is professionalisim. At the end of the day, Icardi signed the contract and he is bound by it.

After stripping the armband, Marotta pushed Spallo to call him for Vienna, as he knew Icardi wouldn't answer. This started some fans' doubt. and to complete the anger, release the medcheck results to public.
Now he can safely sell him to...Juventus even, without worrying fans uproar towards management. Well, if icardi rejected the move, the hatred will grow even more.

Mission completed, and Marotta can then resigned in peace (just like sabatini). :fuckyea:

Yes but negotiations are ongoing, or were ongoing until recently anyway , he was never told this isn't going to happen and still hasn't been.

Also, i doubt the club 'let him' find a buyer. The club want to either increase or remove the release clause so i doubt they wanted to lose him for that price.

The club wants to lose him for nothing from how I see it.

If I'm Icardi I would sit on the paycheck and make a transition to Hollywood with Wanda and make a couple of pornos.

Forza Wanda, keep this up.

With the way she’s running his life, that’d be cuckold pr0n if you ask me. Maurito is going to sit there and watch Mandingo tickle Wanda’s twat with his cock while she’s telling Mauro he’s useless.

We won’t get more from 65 millions for him. I am ready to bet on that.

Icardi is a great player and best performed Inter player for last few years.

But him being Inter captain was disgraceful and I am glad it is now over.

It is ok if this means we learned the lesson well and would act quickly once a player starts showing signs of not wanting to stay or not fitting in with the rest of the squad. Inter should give all strikers minutes all the time. No more special treatment for any player.

Because the club has no intention to sell him and his contract is not due to be renewed anyway.

The club didn't 'let him' find a buyer.. I thought Wanda had "a meeting with Napoli and Juventus"? Agent can always look for a buyer. An interested buyer is allowed to pay 110 millions to release him, which did not happen.

With an improved contract, it is only right to increase the clause or remove it, because if Inter offers a better contract, it means Inter believes Icardi's value has increased.

There are 2 important players needing a contract renewal now, Icardi and Skriniar, just observe how the two negotiations are going. Both are run by the same people from the club.

But it doesn't matter right? Because he is shit and our team plays better than him, then there are many strikers superior to him so it doesn't matter if we get more than 65m or whatever.

The most important is to get rid of him right? Certainly we will kick ass even against top teams once the tough schedule will be ahead of us.

Some people...

It looks like he’ll stand with Wanda till death and let her keep running her mouth. I really wanted him to stay forever but I’m tired of all this drama. Only thing that would kill me is if he goes to RuBe.... only way I’ll be able to live with that is if we get dybala, which ain’t gonna happen.

We must sell him. He's toxic and nothing will change, if not for the worse.

Remember Adriano and recoba? They had way more talent than icardi, but that wasn't enough.

A balanced mind is of the essence.

Icardi will never get out of this toxic spiral. In his eyes, it's him and Wanda Vs the world.

He will never see things the way they are: he will just keep "doubling down", as they say in the u.s. .

This is all about damage control: the damage is done and maybe couldn't be avoided, the management can only sell him and limit the loss (by "loss" I mean the difference between those 110 million and what we will actually get for him).

100000000% correct. The mindset of a teenager. An immature one at that.
