I can't agree that Kane or Lukaku have any wow factor or great advantage that puts them ahead of Icardi. I think if a 22/23 year old hit 50 goals in England at this age then there would be much bigger hype, regardless of playing ability/style.

I don't think it's fair to compare to other leagues because when you see the historical aspect of the Serie A, strikers always struggles to top the 30 goals per season, it's really hard to score in our league wether in Spain, Germany and England, you can see many players scoring loadshit of goals because it's more open, less tactical.

French league is a better comparison, on the historical side and quality aside.

Nor are they behind. I think Kane is much more involved in build-up play though.

But I think until this year, Tottenham had a better team than ours.

From what I've seen of both, Kane seems more situationally aware and has a better first touch, not to mention solid long shots. Based on past performance the last two years I would rather have Kane between the two. Although I do see your point and if what we've seen Icardi do the past couple of games becomes the norm then they would be close. I'll wait and see before I'm in on Icardi.
