Yeah it's a bit repeat stuff over and over again.

I just can't help myself from posting to this thread as I follow after all read these player threads. The circle-jerk of mocking Icardi goes on and on so I just have this strange need to say something. I try to emphatize Icardi (to emphatize, understand and share the feelings of another) and think what he and Wanda feels.

I don't blame Icardi but some people here makes him looking like a innocent victim of a villain Inter's management. "Icardi loves Inter, but Marotta want to push him towards Juve". I've read similar bullshits a lot here and that is not a true.

No one ever argued club loves Icardi. It's Icardi fans who use his "love" for Inter to excuse his behavior. A captain's armband belongs to the club, not to the player. Just like the club took the armband from Ranocchia and gave it to Icardi, they could do the same with Icardi and Handanovic. We can argue if it was a right decision or not but it's up to the club to assign the captain. The argument Inter didn't inform Icardi about their decision is only speculation from some mebers. Lets not act as if it's a fact. Icardi would be right to be annoyed with our management as he was promised a new contract which never materialised. But he should have acted professionally till the end of the season and either demand a new contract or a move elsewhere this summer. Instead his agent couldn't stop talking to the media about the contract and he acted like a spoiled kid who had lost his candy when he was stripped of the captaincy. Personally i am not emotional at all. I wouldn't even be against keeping him if Lukaku is his replacement. Even though refusing a callup and faking an injury is too much for me. And i certainly don't want to see him at Juve. I'd rather keep him on the bench for the next two years and lose him on a free than selling him to Juve.

The club took the armbrand from Ranocchia before the start of the season 2015-2016 (just when that is done) and not in the middle of it, as was the case with Icardi and Handanovic now. Besides, can a player who is not a major player to be captain? During the season 2015-2016 he was even loaned in Sampdoria. Both cases are very different and I do not know why they compare.

You can play role reversal all day long, at the end of the day it just boils down to: is it acceptable for a professional player, who previously had his 7544 salary bump and said he loves inter, to just openly refuse to play for two months because his ego and pride got bruised, and all that in the height of our season. If answer is yes then you write forza icardi first and forza inter second...

For me it's that simple, and I know it sounds radical but I really have zero tolerance for the type of bullshit he did.

You claim you see it from all angles and yet you fail to mention there are reasons behind management decision to sell Icardi. Inter management don't want to sell him because they're evil or because they woke up one day and decided to do so. You're right there were other incidents before Icardi refusing a callup. We don't know the exact details but we know for sure the coach demanded a solution in the Icardi matter and the club decided to eventually intervene by stripping him of the captaincy which coincidentally turned things around for the season. What some people fail to understand is while a club is entitle to change the captain if they wish to, a player is obligated to train and play by his contract. It's not up to him to decide whether he plays or not. The club didn't sue him because it wouldn't solve anything. It would only take things to the court. Instead the club tried to salvage any Icardi market value that was left.

I insist that the media knows nothing Gazzetta just today claimed that as planned Icardi will go to lugano with the team and start pre season with inter.
Just fucking 2 weeks or so ago the very same people claimed that mauro will refuse to go to lugano and that inter does not want him to train with the group.

I mean wtf? how can you go from he ll refuse to go to lugano and inter will make him train seperate to as expected icardi will join the team in Lugano?
