Zarate will definitely be an upgrade and since Tevez is surely not coming he is the best choice for a wide forwad after Lavezz who we do not afford. However negotiating with Lazio is tough.

I see your pretty optimistic about zarate but he doesn't convince me at all.
If he didn't manage to be consistent at lazio how can be able to handle the big pressure of inter and it's not that we have such a great statistic in handling problematic players. He doesn't score much and he's been alway accused as selfish by his teammates .
I would take him on loan but that obligation bying clause it's too risky.
